Okay... June, most of the stressful things are out of the way. I'll try and get on top of this new programming workshop I'm doing and then try and put a bit more together and restore this map.

Granted I'm a new player but I had thought "I think a Japan map would be cool to play on" and I see it's being worked on. Sucked to find out about why your having to do the whole thing over, but looking forward to seeing it.

Ok, I thought I'd post here again, but it's with bad news.

I am not going to continue this map, although someone who can dedicate the time to it can. Infact, I really hope that someone can and will make this a map onto conquer club.

The simple fact is that I cannot dedicate any time to this anymore, and over the past year and a couple of months I've had nothing but problems and this map has been a bit on the side, rather unfortunately, I got close to finishing it and then lost it, and from then on have never had the motivation to pick it up again.

Is there anyone willing to create this? I wonder, if anyone wants to do this... would I be able to request that the style is kept close to what I had it at? The sort of papery theme, with an almost painted on theme (at least that's what I aimed for :P) and then I wonder if I could request that continents and things are kept the same. I seem to remember the only problems I had with it were the design, little things.

What does everyone think? I want to pass the torch, I just need someone willing, because I am gutted that I cannot continue due to work, college and a whole host of other problems...

Can you post an image to work off of? Your first post doesn't have one.

As I remember, most, if not all, images were lost.

If needed, I can produce a mock up for reference quickly.

I am now going to be taking a long break from Conquer Club, for a long time this place almost ruled my life... (I will check this topic though, see if the map ever does go anywhere)

So long everyone, for a few months at least...

Too bad - From what I remember the Japan map was great. It had a samurai in the corner that fit perfectly. I doubt anyone can reproduce what you had, but we have some really talented map makers who somehow have tons of free time to devote to CC maps. Good Luck with whatever troubles your having.

When I came back here this was the map I really wanted to play.

It was so close...
