see all those tiny dots? (not the black dots) it looks like you used the sharpen tool, why not one plain color? (for the last time i don't mean the black/grey dots)

Because it is a specific layer in my file called map grunge.
I put that there. It is supposed to be an old map. You know with wear and discoloration.

The sea is not because it is not drawn on the paper, it is the paper. The unplayable is black and gray there are no "colors" there. There rest of the map is showing signs of color loss and it is "degrading" I wanted to add some color noise to the map for that effect. That is why it is there and no where else.

Can I just say I can't believe how much crap WM has had to deal with for what is probably one of the best looking maps of all time. Is the purpose of the FF process to scare people away from doing anything creative?

I think this map is getting more of a ringing because we know widowmaker will and is capable of making this better. If we didn't think he would take all of this and we thought it'd scare him away he'd probably get a lesser attack.

So the moral of the story is "Be good enough to get through FF, but not so good as to raise people's expectations too high"
Sounds like a recipe for disaster.

              Quenching

The Final Forge period has concluded for the Indochina REVAMP map. All objections have had their time. The Foundry and I hereby brand this map with the Foundry Brand. Let it be known that this map is now ready for live play (barring any Lack vetoes).
