i was told about some "Open Source Effort" like Limewire called EMU or something but i cannot seem to find it!

can i get some help?

Not sure mate, sorry...try bit torrents. In my opinion 1 million times better than Limewire or programs alike. But that's just my two cents ;)

yea i use them too, but i dont find them good for finding foreigner songs.

Dont use limewire or any other illegal sharing/downloading programs

Just go buy the music, it may be more expensive, but think of how expensive it would be if you get sued for using limewire :wink:

Actually, limewire is perfectly legal if you don't share files. Even at that, celebrities are being pretty whiny about how they're losing 75 cents for each shared file.

Using Limewire or Bit Torrents, or any other type of P2P software is perfectly legal. There are many royalty free files that are posted every day on those sites. I could post my own music, games, files, etc on any of these sites/programs and it would be completely free and legal for people to download my stuff. People just abuse the right of these programs to download software illegally :shock: :wink: :lol:

nope, we had a worker/lawyer come to our school and explain the uses of limewire and there consequences. All the songs you download from limewire are shared from another user, and therefore breaks the copyright laws.

It is illegal.
