i appreciate you putting the flag of the Republic of China (Taiwan) in this map. However, I find the government emblem not fitting at all for this map. Sure, the Communist Government has established their regime ovr China, but it was never elected by popular vote of the people, so it cannot truly represent China and Chinese people; all it symbolizes is a one party government. I suggest either taking out the emblem or putting the emblem of the Republic of China too, because you have included Taiwan in the Greater China map, and it is certainly not under communist rule, and it is only fair to the people of Taiwan tha their democratically elected government is represented in the right way too. "Greater China" is not the People's Republic of China, but a concept of the Zhong Guo, the Central Nation. The Republic of China is part of this notion, and should be rightfully represented too.

But in the end, it is your signature, and you can do it the way you like. (Though I might make it a little smaller, so it doesn't look so odd compared to the style and theme of the map.)

hey Wisse. I believe that the "country" tag has been changed to "territory" so right now it is true that you don't actually have any countries. Do a quick find & replace "country" to "territory" and run the check again.

It would be less confusing if the XML checker had also been updated to say that Xianjiang does not have its own TERRITORY entry.
thnx a lot

Nice. Looking good Wisse. Thumbs up from me for the army centering and the sig - if your sig had to fit the look of the map we'd have to make new sigs for every map we do.
I've been staring at the graphics looking for errors, and the only thing I can see is that the coastlines looks a bit smudged where the river meets the sea in Hebei and Shandong provinces. If it doesn't look wrong to you then don't give it a second thought. The mountains look funny to me, but I guess other people like them so I'll shut up.
In reading back through the past few weeks of posts, it looks as if the Kashmir territory may be a source of confusion. In the legend it is called "C. Kashmir," in the XML it is called "Chinese Kashmir," and on the map it has no label at all. Have I got that right?

i forgot about this too, i saw it last week but forgot to post about. i looked over the map, but i cant find C. kashmir. so that bombard idea is either scrapped and he didnt change the text in legend, or he forgot to change a terr to C. kashmir.

Time to retire this much loved sig of mine with a new clan.

No, it's still there, it just has no territory title. I think this demonstrates that there is still confusion around this territory.

will change C. Kashmir in the legend so there is no confusing
also in the xml thats with everything (e. = eastern etc.)

cool... but jako couldn't find the territory on the map... putting the name of the territory on the map will remove any confusion. I see that one can figure out which territory it is from the image in the legend, so if you're strongly opposed to putting the title there then so be it.
