Construction Chaos Map

Post by AlbroShlo »

I have no artistic ability with the PC or the time to work on this but i think it's a good idea. I'm sure it's the first time you've heard that  .

Construction Chaos

Map -

Landscape view of a construction site including enough area and detail to accomedate each type of worker. Possibly a garage or boathouse beside the main structure.

Workers -

Foundation
Framing
Masonory
Siding
Roofing
Landscaping

In the forefront of map is a parking lot containing a space for each type of worker. You get a bonus if you own all of one skill and an extra bonus if you also own the parking space for that skill.

Intriguing Idea. But you posted it in the wrong forum. Any Ideas go in the "Map Ideas Subforum". Don't worry, a mod will move it.

I was thinking that the Caspian Sea resource map would be good. The oil reserves could be used as strategic variables.

The first square can be divided into 6, all of which can attack #2. I think 100 territories is excessive though.

It's interesting strategically, i think, because you can use armies to block other players from advancing, but then again you need armies to cut your way through.

Yes. Someone is working on NY state, but this is about New York City and some surrounding area. Not the same thing at all.

Either way, this is just an idea not something he is working on so it should be in the Map Ideas thread.

Now that's a thought. It might be too much coding on the admin's parts, but if we could get it to start with 6 different spaces on the first square, and have the rest neutral, and not have anything able to attack square one, and win at square 100. It would be even awesomer to be able to fortify to an enemie's territory, like using your enemy as your weapon of mass destruction to clear your path.

I don't know if they'd be able to code it like that, but that would make the game a LOT more interesting.

just call them the preppies or something to do with business

maybe put police stations throughout to serve as some other type of bonus

there are tons of ideas and possibilities for dozens of different LA maps. hard part is to where you want the focus to be

That's true, although the hardest part will be finding someone with the software and motivation to actually make it.

The hardest thing would be of which age to do it of, cause if you do the original you could add empires but if you did the 5th age you could have alot more areass... so you would have to choose a time frame in order to make the map work

London Underground

What about a London underground map, where every line is a region, and every station a "land"?
