A challenging sport?

I wanted to see how challenging of a sport you think Crew is. (Crew is also known as rowing.) Rowing is a world wide sport and an olympic sport as well. After the poll ends I'll post the actual results done by the International Association of Athletics. And I will compare it to other sports' results.

I've never played "crew", but it looks to be around a 7-8

Finally, I have found someone else that rows.....it's been quite some time.....

Just thought I'd put it about a 8/9, because rowing is a bitch to learn. Not only is it hard to learn, but being good at it is an entierly different affair.

BTW Mandy, I do give a shit. Kinda sorta :wink:

I'm not a rower. I did vote a 10 however. So that takes care of my one nice act of the day. And with only 2 hours 17 minutes to spare.

I just wanted to point out that you may be totaly into something that is not interesting to other people. And if you make a poll about it on this site, you will attract many immature people who will tell you to GFY (especially if you didn't put that as one of your poll options :lol:

I currently spend a total of 1 hour 20 minutes a week on the rowing machine at my gym. I voted 5, because at an effort level of "10", it's a piece of piss, really, and I'm sure real rowing is quite similar.

Mind you, apparently the gym is getting a load of new machines in next week, and these go up to "11" :shock:
