UncleSamPresley spouting obscenties [warned]

I rarely post here (I believe this is post 4 in 10 months of game play) but I am requesting that some action be taken against player "UncleSamPresley."

As can be seen in the game chat he swore with a complete lack of provocation, and is simply a poor sport. I have nothing against trash talking, but this is extreme. Sure, waiting helped me, but I joined the game with every intention of playing it to completion (regardless of who won).

His claim that I would use such cheap tactics is insulting and rather presumptuous.

If there is anything that can be done other than my adding him to my "ignore" list I would appreciate it. Thank you kindly.

My two cents...

1. A lot of players take this game way too serious. That with a combination of being a bad looser tend to make them write all kinds of stuff in the game chat. No need for you to be insulted. Get on with your life.

2. Just recognize that you managed to play with a moron, use the ignore list and - yes - get on with your life.

3. If something "would be done" to every player that looses it some time, insults some one or whatever, there wouldn't be that many players around after a few weeks.

Ive had the displeasure of playing this guy too. dont get hung up about it though.

I noticed he had a ton of negative feedback, but it seemed rather dwarfed next to his positive feedback. I wasn't gonna bother taking the time to look through that, I was simply looking for a decent game (and we all know how quickly 2 player games go). Oh well, lesson learned.

And Alstergren: Thanks for the advice, but did you see what he posted? Here, I'll save you the trouble of looking.

And for the record: Mercyhurst applied to become an Ivy League school and was accepted. They are now simply trying to figure out how to work the financial aid so students who deserve to go there (like myself) can continue to afford going there. Yes, I worked at Burger King, I don't consider myself too good to flip burgers. It was a job that would give me decent hours and could work around my school schedule.

Oh, and I used "diminished reason" correctly. Maybe you should go back to 8th grade (or wait a couple years). The way the game was going was reason enough to wait a while. But the fact that my friend called me to say goodbye diminished my reason to stay online even more.

Oh, and no, my parents have not put a single cent into my college education. I worked my tail off to get there, and now I work full time on campus (and have some pretty amazing scholarships) to be able to stay there.

Oh, and what does my sexuality have to do with anything? I'm not gay, but would it change anything if I was?

One final thing: there is no Myspace link in my page, nor has there ever been that I know of. I'm pretty sure that that crosses the line from harassment to stalking.

Mods: You're going to lose a player over this situation. If he is allowed to keep playing I will delete my account and stop referring friends to you (I just don't have them use my name because it would be a waste of a premium account. I don't even have time for a full 4 games right now). I'll let you decide who: One who has played and never had a problem before, or one who insists on abusing your forums and breaking your rules.

For the record: this is the last time I will EVER reply to you.

And at the least: when my 2 games finish.

At the most: whenever I grow tired of it. But since you are asking should you not be deleted, I have not yet made up my mind, but probably a week after I have some sort of confirmation that some authority has seen this situation and refused to handle it.

We let a lot of stuff go in game chat but as the rules state:

However, in cases of extreme obscenity or extreme harassment (in our judgement) we may take disciplinary action against the offending member.

I think making fun of a an opponent's suicidal friend crosses the line of what is acceptable here. UncleSamPresley has been issued an official disciplinary warning.
