Post by yorkiepeter »

Anybody know whats happened to him?

He had deadbeated all his games and has not been seen now for nearly 2 weeks. Not like him, he is a tournament organiser and currently has several running.

thats the problem with making friends on sites like this, if people just disappear you never get to find out why

I was wondering the same thing as yorkiepeter. I was really enjoying his MLB doubles tournament, even though I was losing pretty badly.

this might be off topic but assuming my will is carried out, I've left instructions for various people to post something on all the sites I frequent should I meet some sort of unfortunate demise. So if anyone cared they wouldn't be left in the dark.

it depends on the type of friends you make and how close the relationship gets. i've made friends over the internet (strictly people met on game sites) and i've went out and met around 50 in real life. it's really nice to find out the guy that acts like a 7 year old is in fact 49 and he's a bank manager (real story). anyway the point is if you really become friends over the internet then somebody will post what happened.

in case i die some people on CC know me in real life and will notify the others.

anyway i really like kahless i've won the 6 nations tourney with him

leaving your tournaments and stuff just like that is quite irresponsible acting..
you could at least ask around if other people want to take over, or say something about it in the threads...

And we were doing decent in FA Premiership Doubles.

Speaking of disappearing people, what happened to maxdetjens. His Solar System map was moving at a remarkable pace when he suddenly disappeared. I sent him a PM over 2 weeks ago and it's still in my Outbox.

better to partner him we won 8 out of 8 in his cricket doubles, he always followed my advice, delight to play with and good points.

don't understand why he never seems to advance his rank
