surrender button?

Post by gaunt773 »

how about adding a surrender button for the days when you are losing 70% of your attacks and your defense is france-like?

please?

hey i think that's a great idea! so you know if i get bored of the game i could just surrender and leave and the countries would go back to neutral!!!

that would also knock off turns to make it faster!!

Ripe for Abuse, basically it becomes a way of cheating someone out of points when they beat you, thus your rank never goes down.

One way to fix that though is to have a chosen surrender dock you 100 points in addition to whatever the other person would win.

Why not have the resign button mean you lose......then you lose the points anyway ?

its just soo frustrating cuz it seems like the dice do not go your way usually for the ENTIRE DAY.

i threw 2 games today because the opposition gained huge upperhand in only 2 rounds because i was throwing only like 15% in my favor! im sure the dice whining is done to death but damn... this is really getting to be no fun.

No kidding? Hmmm...well that makes you pretty special. You also haven't played in nearly as many games as I have, so if you still have that percentage after 300+ games, come talk to me.

I didn't say you didn't know if the dice were "buggering" you. I said that sometimes a little restraint goes a long way in turning a game around.

Higher than mine as well which shows that the statistic is meaningless Considering I have nearly 3 times as many points as you.

Great idea; I'm all for it. It would accelerate the pace that the real sucky players give away their points and help me harvest my multis' points faster.

Being a private after 75 games isn't something to gloat about regardless of your win percentage,
except maybe to prove how well a surrender button may suit you.

although it may be abused by multis, this should not effect the majority of law abiding individuals here.

ofcourse, thats true, but whst if only that person can only surrender once agianst another person. say a multi plays one game together then the multi tries another game and neither one of them can surrender because one has already surrendered in a previous game. Just a thought. Nothing big. I just would like to have one right now so I can leave some games i'm in. since I'm losing and there are dead beats. It gets boring. Maybe CC should come up with something else to do for fun. Just a thought.
