If it's the one map keep it to the one thread. If this is completely you're own project then a new thread would be ok.

It will be its own map.
As soon as i work out the details.
I think it will be a sort of sci-fi city/land with space and stuff.
I think it could look pretty awesome once its finished.
I may start a rough draft as soon as i work out some of the country'continent details.

For those of you who play the video game fire emblem, you will know what this is, but others, not so much.

How about a map of Tellius? I tries splitting up the countries into smaller territories, but I'm still working on it.

and I thought my game was old

You should see my version, its from 1963!!! The pieces are painted wooden blocks.

Anyways, back on topic, it looks like a playable map, the graphics needs work though. Also, don't forget about copyright, you might vary the name...somthing like Gothame city, Grotham city, or something else thats very unoriginal.

well he has to contact the copyright holder for permission (which he said he emailed DC). If they don't respond (I'd probably send another email if you haven't heard back) then he can move forward despite as long as he uses all original artwork. But, this probably means the map would be in danger of being removed/haulted if the copyright holders object

It seems the team effort went down the drain. Once I finally get Portugal quenched ill put this as my secondary map (Feudal will be my primary) and work closely with Coleman to get it started.
What do you know about map making, bitch?

the classic map is not that far from the board game version, so this idea is pluasible.

I still wouldn't want to play it without the 2210 rules. It would feel dirty.

I play it all the time. I just don't like the idea of playing it with classic risk rules. I'd be wanting my commanders, and cards, and 8 sided dice.

shogun is cool, still play it once n' a while when i am tired of the other high graphic stuff. that or age of wonders 2... oh the memories... some one would have to generate a hokaido part to the shogun map... but most of it is already laid out great... it has clans and colour coordination and some periods have ports in place...

would really like to battle on the western front as i am a battlefield history enthusiast. would also provide a difficult and stalemately worthy challange in which to overcome an opponent equally as defended as yourself. you never know might be fun.

The more I drive around the more I like the idea of making a map of the LA area, in which you'd get bonuses for controlling the freeways - the 5, 10, 101, etc.

An LA map would have the same problem I'm running into with Berlin - a lack of natural unpassable borders, but there is a lot of potential graphically. I'll play with it more when I have more time.

alright that sounds cool... if you want you can also make the freeways as borders/territories? Like you can cross from one main area to anotehr only through a freeway, and freeway onramps only access at specific points? I hope you can understand what i mean
