What constitutes a secret alliance?
Purely hypothetical question: If, in a 4-6 player game, another player proposed an alliance via PM saying that if you agreed it would then be posted to game chat, what would you do? And would your answer change if you were already considering an alliance with that player?

at the same time, if you announce a secret alliance in chat...its not secret of course...but you can bet that the other players WILL go after the both of you knowing this information....
its like a catch 22...if you don't announce it in open chat..its secret..if you do announce it..then the others will go after you 2..unannounced..but that wouldn't be a secret alliance on the other player's part, because it becomes self preservation at that point and they will try and eliminate 1 of the alliance members.....not as an alliance themselves, but to keep themselves alive!

^^...yes that too ^^
also if you ARE friends neighbors etc..and your NOT playing dubs or trips, and your playing standard or singles games,
its a good idea to announce that you know each other..or the other players will cry foul
I would only play dubs and trips(on the same team) to avoid any fouls being called against you
I personally do not play with family members, friends, etc....
My nephew was staying with me for the summer, he signed up on here on my comp, but I told him hes on his own
now he went back to Colorado, and he doesn't have the internet, so he won't play again til he comes out here again..next year!...
