Thanks for the game, everybody. I was pretty sure Skoffin was town, and I couldn't believe people thought she was paranoid (since she claimed I was town), but everybody else being scum explains it.

If only I hadn't been persuaded to vote Pancakemix...

If only I hadn't stepped on that bomb...

It was impossible for Skoffin to be paranoid. She had to be either true, "random" or naive as all 3 would've had a possability of getting you a town read. Paranoid or insane would've put you as a scum read.

Well generally, the SK can count for half to a quarter of the kills. When there's 15 lynches and 5 NK's over a 2 day period, staying alive is difficult, to say the least :/

Yea it is, but so is staying alive in just any role in that situation. Civil War won't be quite like that as their will be a limit on the number of "deaths" each day without having to worry about a bomb type role. Every 3 nights though there will be a possability of a bloodbath from a possible major battle taking place.

Janitor with the "random" scum. first time running a catastrophe mafia. next time might make one less sk to give town a slightly better chance. not sure if cult could fit in the game though in place of one of the scum groups so that while town could possibly watch out for a cult the cult wouldn't kill at night at least barring recruitment of a killing type role aka sk or vig.

Funny thing about pcm's role - it was such a guaranteed scum finder that I couldn't possibly believe he was telling the truth.

Hrm aimless I gotta give kudos to u. I thought I was screwed over after you called for that mass claim lol. I got damn lucky tho. If kalish didn't have to leave then I probably wouldn't have gotten him lynched. Heh. My ultimate mafia strategy: fall ass-backwards into lucky situations :lol:

Well, I think I made a mistake when I didn't press harder to end the game before night two. I was pretty certain you were scum, and was leaning towards thinking that kalish was as well.

If I'd gotten my way completely, of the seven that were remaining I would have lynched you, then kalishnikov, then probably Incandenza and Skoffin. And then, seeing as how the game would have still been going, I would have convinced myself that LSU wasn't going to end the game until night fall, and talked Koesen and mandy into lynching me. :roll:

So, we'd still have lost, but I'd have given the game to mandy.

Well I didn't believe the claim, but then everyone thought I was scum anyway

I do find it funny though that even though I was first to claim cop, and then specifically night cop, and was the original one to bring up the possibiliy of a day cop I was still one of the top suspects :lol:

In all fairness, I actually thought your claim was legit, and decided to protect you night 2.... fat fucking lot of good it did all us.

I'm just happy knowing that pretty much everyone I thought was scum turned out to be scum (save for mandy)...

I feel kind of bad about that. I told you to lynch me for the sake of time. Not like you could've lynched anyone else, though.

Also, looking back, kwanton jumped at me immediately after we lynched PK. That should have tipped me off right away.

I never really suspected you for exactly those reasons, and I said so on several occasions.

Skoffin - you weren't particularly high on my suspect list, but the way the cops claims and the investigations from night one worked out, it was guaranteed that Koesen was town. (Basically, in order for Koesen to have been scum, you would have had to have been either insane, paranoid, or scum yourself, in which case there would have been a third cop claim floating around.)

Unfortunately, there was no such guarantee that you yourself were town, so when we started to run out of people I would have wanted to lynch you, too.

Alas, I was bolloxed by the bad investigation result I got on mandy. (And, ga7, I wasn't ready to believe that you were telling the truth regarding blocking mandy until after I knew you were town. If I were scum in a game like this, and I got lynched, I would do my damnedest as the curtain fell to lie my ass off and throw the game into as much confusion as possible.)

Excellent game, one of the most suspenseful I've been in since I've been on this site.

Well played kwanton, I knew it too, by the way... I debated killing you in the last night to prevent this from happening, but figured Incandeza would be a better hit...
