Official Alliances in the process of games.
OK,
I got this cool idea. People can make alliances in game if they announce it right? But then, what if your allianced buddy starts getting into a world of hurt? The only was to save him/her would be to attack into that territory, hence maybe wiping out some of his/her armies, and leaving you fighting for some more defenses. This idea came to me in a game I was first playing, I teamed up with a guy, then we broke the alliance, and i noticed the other guy getting blasted.
What if, we had an option to select an alliance? More or less, have a drag down menu type of thing (something like what we choose countries to attack sort of thing) that we copuld click a player's name and send an alliance request?
They could then approve/disaprove and you could fortify them too! Also having the option to have a button to click saying "End alliance with <name>"
I thought it would be good, games would be much more fun, but there would have to be certain rules and times you'd be allowed to do this, especially if everyone in a 6 person game teamed up against one and so on.
Hope you give it some thought Lack!!!

But, have you ever been ion a position where you're about to lose, and you'd like to have an alliance right before?, so the least you can do is get some firtification and maybe survive?

haha, he's my RL friend thats what
. But, back to what High Borne was saying, that was just an example highborn, doesn't mean thats the only time youd be able to, or would, use it
. But I hop you guys/gals get the idea, I like it (obviously because it my idea haha) and think it would come in handy, considering this isn't the exact same thing as Risk, some modifications could improve it, or make it worse. Just my opinion though

Check any of my games (search for paperplunger lol) and just look at my enforcements, and how i ended up with like none on em... Again, I can't rooll. I thinkhyper has a sort of good idea, it could be improved, but it's ok. It would get hectic though Hyper if you're the one being teamed up on, and then games would go much faster, as you said about the whole them being more fun, I think they'd only be more fun if you're the one on a team. I like it, but work on it some more mate.

no if u lose u lose at least u did it with honor and some dignaty. dont ask for help die like a man and move on to the next game Rolling Eyes
I disagree with this attitude. It's possible to be completely losing, form an alliance that appears to help the other player, and then actually go on to win. This is an example of good strategy. It's not a matter of honor. Honor would mean resisting the urge to cheat in order to win.
