I can't even see some of the maps. The number of armies is displaying fine where each territory should be, but no map background. Works absolutely perfectly in Windows Internet Explorer 7.0 with no Greasemonkey script or Bob, but in Mozilla no maps apart from Classic and Africa. Anybody any idea what gives here?

In fact it seems to be in any team games I am in. My singles games seem fine. Nothing changes either if I turn Greasemonkey off.

is it just me or does the fix not work universally on every map. it works fine on my discworld game, my WWII game but not on my classic game or my montreal game. what gives?? :x

/me has been playing with no scripts anyway ;)

To get a new version of a map when the image has gone screwy, like Montreal did for me today, you can use Ctrl+F5. That's a 'super refresh' that de-caches all images on the current page and reloads them.

Aerial Attack wrote:I believe this will also work (rather than digging through your user directory for "bob"):

1. Click on Tools/GreaseMonkey/Manage User Scripts
2. Select "Conquer Club - BOB" (left pane)
3. Click on Edit (under left pane)
4. This opens a notepad file
5. Search (either Ctrl-F or click Edit/Find) for 'country' [use the single quotes - helps to find fast]
6. Go 1 line below and insert the code previously indicated [copied here]

if (entries.length<1) {
entries = dom.getElementsByTagName('territory');
}

7. Enjoy

EDIT: Tested ON Middle East, Middle EArth, Siege, Classic, World 2.1, Montreal, USA Apocolypse, US Senate, Canada, Asia, Great Lakes

use should just use aerial attack's way, its working fine on all my maps now.

Thank you Lobster, this fix worked on all maps for me (new script, I was using the Robert's Mods).

I felt so lost taking my turns before work this morning without the monkey... Hadn't realized how much I relied on it...

Three cheers for Lobster Crush! It fixed not only my old maps but the new ones which weren't working too.

Thank you!

The fix made it better, gut it is just not working for me on all maps. I don't think it is working on any of my San Francisco games.
