Dreamcast maybe? I know the Saturn had an addon "Netlink" or something that allowed for it, but depends on whether you see that as the same. Dreamcast is the first console I can think of that was online calpable from release... at least I think it was.
Also your other points, well I think you missed the point, obviously Nintendo didn't design the PS3. I'm not even sure what you're saying, Sony didn't copy everything about their system? Anyway it wasn't meant to be that serious, people will argue Atari invented the analogue stick etc. It's just remarking how Sony aren't very original. Wii has an online browser.

Ah yes they are, im not sure but sony took those and put it together 1st because there is no other controller that has the motion sensing,anolog stick,arrowpad(The cross thing, we call it arrowpad). Im not quite sure but i think it was the 1st to have the dualshock and the rest of the stuff. Anyway my point is it made the controller Unique, if its unique it cant be copied of sumthing else.
For the nintendo not desgighning the PS3 i was refering to its no-disctray feature and the rest of its semi-useful doodads that make it idiot proof.

Well seems we've gotten into a little point by point rebuttal thing here, so to bring it back to basics, Sony while they have made some hardware advances, aren't exactly the most innovative videogame company (as has been demonstrated) so your initial point that sony is advancing videogames is (relatively) bunk.

You sound ridiculous. Halo 3 is not the only thing Microsoft has. There are plenty of multi-platform games coming out, and while they're coming to other platforms, it's a safe bet that Microsoft will sell more copies than the others.
