Polls in the foundry usually turn to rubbish anyway. Too many people vote without looking at anything.

Yes but many people now will not be bothered to vote because they are too lazy to write a reply post, while it's okay for them to click since it's less time consuming. Thus he will get less feedback. Besides, from what did you deduct that people vote in polls without looking at anything?

Also it's impossible to keep track of the votes this way. Polls are there to be used in my humble opinion...

Fine I will add a poll Ruben :D

Some people like two different versions one large one small. I don't want to have two different fonts for the large and the small map.

So vote for the best of both and if you already added another vote for #5

I said 3 because it's the only one that I feel is easily readable on both large and small.

I still say 2 on large and 3 on small is optimal and to be frank, I don't see why it's a big deal to have different fonts. But, honestly, it's your revamp and I think you should be able to do it how you want to do it.

I just think it looks weird having two very different fonts. I think qwert's idea of getting rid of the italic style of #2 is probably a good idea.

And edbeard. If I felt that because it was my revamp I could do anything i want, then I would not even have changed the font in the first place. I want the community to help decide what the map will look like. There have been many things on my revamps and my own maps that I did not think were important. But the community did and the community is in charge (within reason :D)

Here are the updated versions of #2. qwert suggested bold only not bold/italics.

What do you think. Plus based on the poll this style is winning but a close 2nd is #3.

Could you be so kind as to provide the links to both the map images, along with XML (hopefully updated with 'territory' instead of 'country')

Yes, not sure if you've read the announcement in the main forum or not. :)

              Quenching

The Final Forge period has concluded for the Montreal REVAMP. All objections have had their time. The Foundry and I hereby brand this map with the Foundry Brand. Let it be known that this map is now ready for live play (barring any Lack vetoes).

Conquer Club, enjoy!
