Actually Nintendo stopped us [CC] from making a Super Mario themed map long before I ever got here.

Triforce is probably fine. If I remember right, the mario map they smashed wasn't even exactly super mario, but the author was using super mario graphics in a very super mario like way. (Did I just use Super Mario as an adjective?) Anyway, we could probably consider this map a parody of Zelda if we didn't use any of their art. But I think lack is very very nervous about copyright issues.

Best looking video game map I've ever seen. =P~ But, I don't remember being able to go from Lake Hylia to Zora's domain or Lake Hylia's "Lake side lab" to Gerudo valley... Weren't those only one ways into Lake Hylia? :-k

You don't have an income like mine, plus you've never even ridden in my amazing rocket car... Maybe if I get bored I'll bench press it for you.

Is the original guy that was doing this even here anymore? Anyway, I think a TP map might be a better choice. But anyway, this is actually coming along very well.

Great map! I really hope it goes thru. I wanted to maybe mention though that there is another fountain at the top of Death Mountain, where you get your magic for the first time. Maybe work that in too, but its just a thought.

If you're gonna do the Ocarina version, you really should do the Link to the Past and Twilight Princess versions (they're pretty different).

:D :D :D MAN!!!! How'd you ever had the GENIUS idea of this map. MAKE IT, MAKE IT, MAKE IIIIT!!!!. :D :D :D

But ok getting into suggestions, I'd link goron town (which i'd change to goron city, just to be precise) to sacred meadow or kokiri forest. This is because just one border (in death mountain) doesn't seem right, so i'd at least add that one.
Now, I don't think you should link the temples or the fountains, but i'd put a bonus for holding all temples, like you did with the fountains.

Lastly, Good luck, and may this map be the gamer blessing :D :D

make the fountains more noticeable, and that one continent woth one attachment should be worth 2 no matter what, otherwise it give the conquering player a huge advantage.

TP would be cool, but you just can't beat OOT. It would be perfect because of all the sub-areas coming off of hyrule field, but you could also have the lost woods connected to everything too, practically. I will make a picture of what I think it should look like when I have some free time, if you guys want.
