Haha, there are certainly people that I feel fit the description, but I'm not one to name names. :P

I see little value in presenting an opinion not of my own or providing false hope to the hopeless. Yes, I may come across as blunt and uncaring sometimes, but my intentions are in the right place.

Now, back to the ideas before I go and scare everyone off.

i really like this map. And you shouldnt have any problems with copyright as long as no money is made directly off the map!!!!

I dont know how your skills are toned but if they arent good enough ask mibib or widowmaker for help coz this would be a great map... On that note i would love to see a map of GTA : San Andreas :)

There is no problem with copyright. It is a well known fact that as long as no money is made directly off the map then it isnt A problem. Lackattack said so himself somewhere!!!

nope your wrong...Lack offers free service as well and people are able to play on conquer club for free. Now if you purchase premium membership that gives you the right to play more games.

So you are not directly paying for the right to play on any map!!!!

People make a big deal about copyright but there are lots of loopholes. Starwars actually encourage people to do stuff directly related to its franchise as long as no money is made of its name. If money is amde of its name it has to be donated to a charity or something!!!

I thought Lack was the one that was obsessed with copyright issues. I would be too if I was him. Isn't San Andres a real place though? That would be enough of a loop hole for that one.

ON TOPIC: I like where this is starting, but it needs to look more like a risk map soon. Keep the general outline and shape you've found and start drawing over it in another layer if you are using a good graphics editing utility.
Warning: You may be reading a really old topic.

long high and triple jump
etc

also stands and things

Find me a map of it and I'll marker it out...

Thx for the good thoughts...
I guess I'll work on the image in Photoshop and get a digital sketch ready for XML...
BTW, this map will be played live on the table top this next weekend. I'll let you know how it goes.

Another version will be created that has resource points rather than continent bonuses, with a Conquest approach...
LMK your thoughts on the variants

Map of Pacific Island Groups

Post by Honibaz »

I have noticed that Pacific islands such as Fiji and Guam are being excluded from our maps. Someone should make a map of the Pacific Island Groups.

A map idea for the mods

Post by AAAVforce »

Dear moderators,

I have a new map idea that I think just might work. It's a board game that everyone recognizes: Monopoly. The bonuses would be according to the monopoly colour groups and the territories would of course be the streets. The center "Monopoly" symbol would also be a territory to link the streets on opposite sides. This is a map idea that I had and since I am no computer wiz could someone please make it (I'll give them full credit).

~Thank you
