Pretty much the same here, except my final successful attempt was prodded by playing a game called geosense, which really is quite entertaining (it's a online 1v1 geography game where you're given a blank map of the world and then have to click where you think a given city is, with pointsgiven for speed and accuracy). But after playing it for a week I had a hankering for some proper risk, and here I am.

Well...
I thought I'd found it from the Tinker's Guild forums off of http://www.the-whiteboard.com ... but now I can't find the link there. Definitely found it as a link off of one of my webcomics.
Played *a certain game* and other strategy games frequently, but not as much as I'd like before finding this site. Most of my RL friends tend to avoid serious wargaming in any form...

Hehe, that's how I found it, too. I originally was looking up monopoly, and the links took me to game theory which brought me to risk, I think.
I joined on like the second day or something, and kicked lack's butt twice. Heh, good times.

How did you come to join Conquer Club?
I never would have known about Conquer Club if it hadn't been for my good friend, Leatnic. How did you all discover this site?
