Andy left on Monday and he last posted on Monday, but I know he has been busy the last few weeks. Anyway, there's no need to continue discussing this, it has nothing to do with the map. I urge everyone to stop bumping the thread and wait until qwert either posts an update or Andy comes back and has input himself.

I totaly agree with keyogy, lets everybody take vacation in these topic, and waith when Andy comes back ok.

Qwert, is this map still on vacation? Or do you plan on moving it forward again?

what are those stones between the orange and grey area? can you pass through them? maybe you should put it in the legend if you cant.

how come the river can be crossed some places with the arrows and not others? is it just random or is there some historical reason for it?

Most of the maps don't mention impassible borders. Also there are even strange gray things (mountains????) in the Alexander map that are impassible, with no mention. I don't see a reason to bring that up in the legend. It's implied.

mibi is just a little upset with qwert right now. Is there any real reason this isn't final forge ready? And what does qwert need to do to get it to that point. Could we make a list?

              Final Forge

---The Eastern Front Map has reached the ‘Final Forge’ Stage. I've revived this thread from the pits of the Foundry furnace and have examined the contents. Nearly every major concern has been addressed. If there are any other current concerns, please make your voice heard. There will be at least two days (but may extend pass that) for you to post any objections; if no one has posted any protest after two days the map will be deemed finished with the 'Foundry Brand' of approval and will be submitted for live play. If after two days there is still discussion going on it may continue until said discussion has reached the conclusion that the map has reached its final and polished version.

Post questions and concerns if any.

I'd consider adding the impassables to a legend. Maybe you could put it in the lower left? Sometimes it's best not to assume people will understand.

Regarding the arrows and rivers, what is the significance of their locations? I'm just curious, as you can see.

1.well how you know(maybe you forget these been very very far behind-2006)i try to put down legend for impasabile borders but people tell me that no need for these, because everybody know from others map who dont have Umpasabile border legend, what present bariers in map.

2.I must say that i dont understand these second, you mean what present rivers and arrows? If you mean these, then i can tell that rivers, like in others map present umpasabile borders(these is logical), Arrows present place where you can attack over rivers(these also been discused)and people understand these. Everybody know when look some battle map and see arrow, that these is attack or breaktrouh of some unit.

Andy and Mibi meant -

Do these particular crossings have any relevance? i.e. did the germans attack here?

Or are they just there for gameplay?

Ahhh, these, ofcourse there is no place when germans and russian attack each other in all Eastern front,if i go strictly historical, then in these map no place for umpasabile borders,i must put umpasabile borders and stay only 4 major attack.(if you look better you will se that these attack go to Stalingrad,Leningrad, Moscow and Caucasus).I hope that you understand now better Andy.

I don't know where your xml is hosted. It needs to be online somewhere so they can take it. I think you can copy paste it into the forums if you must but that will take them longer to work with.
