I would agree to it if a new game option were made available to get rid of the extra armies for the missed turns. Both of these changes could potentially speed up many games as well as create new options to make everyone happy.

But as I look around I see that that idea was already rejected

suggestion: function..

Having a surrender button might help players to decide on a game faster, like allow people to surrender after like 10-15 turns by that time both side would probebly have been able to predict who wins and who looses.

question....

Post by Nunuhaza »

may i ask why it is rejected?
and by the way i am asking for the button for any number of players not just the last 2. the only requirement i asked for was everyone to have atleast taken 10-15 turns.
and the lands that the person who surrendered would go back to neutral, with everything reseted for those lands.

It was there for a while, but it was abused to prevent people from getting cards, so it was removed.

here are some ideas to make it better:
1. allow team fuctions that last untill the end of the game, each team must be ballanced and decided befor the game starts.

this allows the problems for a draw button with the allied players to be resolved.

2. allow surrender functions only for two player games.

e.g. i was playing with a friends today cos this was my first game and so i played with him on a 1v1 but i alrdy predicted i would loose and to add on top of that we are both friends, so there wouldn't be too much of a problem, if there is a problem then why don't you add a yes/no function for the oponent to agree or disagree with the surrender.

this also deals with the abuse of the function probs mostly, more than that then all you need to do is to add some precautions.

so far these are the posible ways you could have delt with the prob.

and a few other things you might consider adding is that you can send or decline an invitation for battles, if you don't have them yet. (i wouldn't know cos this is still my first day playing this.)

and one other thing i can think of right now would be an AI bot which teaches the basics of the game in a tutorial sesion. i got fed up on reading guides cos they are usually very long and boring.

while you have an ignore list function why not have a friends function?
while have a live chat function why not add a command which allows people to speak to friends privately only? (one friends at a time or all of them at the same time stuff like "/f m (messege) for all friends or /w (name) (message) for anyplayer on the game privately". f=friends w=wisper these sort of things could be set for all chat logs.

also why not make game pages auto refresh? very annoying when i have to refresh the page all the time every few mins or hours.

if you want i could point out alot of bad and good places about this game but why band people from playing anymore if they left out a game and not played for 3 days or more? thats what i heard from my friend he said you get kicked form the game if you leave one alone for more than 3 days. meaning i can't ever log on anymore. why not just remove the game auto and say it never exist or if it was too far off of a one sided game why not just decide the winner by default?

If you miss three turns in a row in a particular game you get booted from that game only and the armies that you have left on the map turn neutral while the other players finish the game. You do not get baned, just lose that game and tick off the other players.

What about before a person takes their first turn.

Post by oran0007 »

What about before the first turn. For instance, if I start a game, let's say two player, and I notice before I take my turn that the other person has a lot of bad negative feedback(which I always check), I may not want to play that game. I think there should be an option to get out of a game before your first turn.

Sorry, but that would lead to a serious abuse. Multis would just go crazy with it.

Suggestion....auto surrender

Post by tigercut »

Subject>:
Auto self-surrender

<Body>:

Suggestion Idea: I think there should be an automatic surrender button where you can just forfeit the game automatically without having to go through the torture of losing all your armies one turn at a time. I find that some games, no matter what I do, I will not be able to win a roll of the dice and would prefer to just end the game, right then and there. Either that or fix the freakin' dice generator!

Specifics:

Why it is needed: As stated above.

I think there are about 20 threads asking for a surrender button, and I'm pretty sure it's been rejected every time. It would lead to multi abuse and playing the game out is sometimes needed to catch multis (i.e. 1 v 1 games where one never attacks).

in what way was it abused? i dont see how it could have been as long as surrendering meant losing (without having to wait)

You surrender and your opponent doesnt get your cards if they kill you.

And if you were winning a game, wouldnt that make you angry if your opponent surrendered and even though you won, you werent able to kill them?
