Just got back from Vancouver Island Musicfest: here's a shot of the main stage (there were 5 stages) and Don McLean of "American Pie" fame....good thing I had binoculars eh?

two excellent blues artists that were at the music fest: Geoff Muldair, and Amos Garrett.
There were 5 stages set up in 5 separate areas in the wooded grounds. This was the Woodlands stage. Very intimate.....only room for a couple hundred people.
