no, what I meant was that the only reason Douglas Adams had characters in his books at all was to advance the plot, they had next to no value otherwise

the Salmon of Doubt was fucking genius, even though it was just a compilation of things done before D.A.'s death, letters and whatnot, but it has like 9 chapters of a new book he was working on and a lot of new ideas, it's pretty cool.

the media is over exaggerated. My favourite media clip is the one where the soldiers are burning pot, and the BBC reporter gets high off the fumes when the wind turns.
