No option for me. I wouldn't say "He's a good president" nor would I say, "He's a bad president". Somewhere just below "fair".
I voted for Kerry before I voted against him.

Bush has done a lot of things to label him as a bad president:
He's also done a couple of positive things:
I didn't vote for him or Kerry in the 2004 election because when I walked into that voting booth, i was basically choosing between two great big bowls of shit (stolen from Lewis Black). I voted Libertarian because I believed (and still believe) that I have the ultimate say in what I do with my own personal life. It isn't the government's job to tell me who i can marry, what I can ingest, and what I'm allowed to watch on the idiot box.
However, I can't vote in this poll because there's no "I just don't give a rat's ass" option. Personally, I can't judge this president because I have no idea what any of the long term effects his administration will have. This imperial presidency reborn may lead to a new era of countercultural revolution, or it could lead to a police state. I have no idea.
So I'm with Jay on this subject, though the road I took to reach the conclusion may have been different.
Jay, here, you are correct.
- He signed the PATRIOT Act into law
- He turned the 2004 election from a real political debate to a referendum on boys kissing (Stolen from Bill Maher)
- He has a very creepy sense of humor (like joking about how things would be easier if he was a dictator)
- He's a dummy. (Helen Thomas anyone?)
- He abuses his power by restricting the Justice Department from investigating his conduct vis-a-vis the domestic spying programs.
He's also done a couple of positive things:
- He's assisted in bringing about the possibility of total eradication of humanity, thus allowing the Earth to rebalance herself and nature.
- He's being diplomatic with Iran.
- He's managed to avoid scandal by preventing anyone from talking about what he may have illegally ordered.

Bush has a bigger sense of morality than Kerry. I think Bush is a good president, but not the best president. I really think he's making a huge mistake with the border problem; I mean, 6,000 men on the entire border? We've got over 150,000 men guarding the North Korean border alone, and that, my friends, is a much smaller area to guard.
He's probably going for the one world government idea like his father.
But, there are still many positive things about him. He is fighting islamic terrorism, he is against partial-birth abortion, his first veto was on stem cell research using live unborn babies, which is extremely unnecessary with the other ways the same research can be accomplished without destroying a human life. He's done so many things that have helped the American public.
And I saw a comment on how Canada is practically the U.S., when this is certainly not true. Homosexual marriage is legal there, and on O'Reilly(sp?) there was an announced marriage of one man marrying three women on Prince Edward Island. Look it up. Canada is much more corrupted than America...but as long as the ACLU lives on, we might become exactly like them.
