NHL LEAGUE [WINNER: Clive]

Post by spidey »

We are nearing the end of the season and playoffs are just around the corner, so it is time to update the original post.
Tie-breakers for placement in playoffs
1. wins for between the team involved.
2. win % in own division
3. away %
4. points for and against.

x=clinched playoff spot
y=clinched 1st place in conference
z=clinched 1st overall

This is very interesting, of course.

Put me down for Detroit, get back on the rest.

How many games would you want active at one time though?

I'm thinking 1 or 2 games a week would be good, what I will do is set up a weeks worth of games at the begining of the league and then try to add new games each day. We will have to see how it goes at first.

Are you going to do just wins and losses, or have a certain time period by which a game counts as a tie? Just wondering what format you are using for standings. Standard NHL point system I presume?

If this tournament doesn't start within the next week, I'll join (vacation). I'll be Dallas, sequential, classic, no cards, adjacent.

all games will be sequential, flat rate cards, adjacent movements. There won't be any ties, just wins and losses but goals for and against will be subject to points lost and gained, this will also be used to determine tie breakers at the end of the season.

Sounds great to me. Can't wait to get it underway, I'll pass it along to folks I know.
