I was looking through the game list and had to go through 5 pages of almost pure teams to find one standard game and then most of them weren't even kinds I like and all of them had privates and cooks only in them

Does anyone decent play standard anymore?

Standard games fill up faster than team games since noobs can't join public team games anymore. It would be interesting to see if standard beats out team games for the total amount of games played...

Fact: There are 3058 pages of standard games total, and only 1114 of Doubles and Triples total.

I'd say Standard is still a lot more popular than Team games.

i only play standard too, and the games have definately slowed down due to so many folks summer vacations. but im still able to find the games to get my fix.

Well it makes sense then....

The reason there are pages and pages of team games is that most people want to play standard games.... Those starting all those team games must be really patient people...

Are you retarded? this wasn't meant as an insult to anyone or it would have been in flame wars, it was more of me asking why I had to go to page 5 on the join game page to find a standard. I guess you're too retarded to understand that, I know there are people who play standard, I was also wondering if to play standard anymore I had to be part of some retarded password club.

rev you don`t have to scroll down all the games. go to game finder and hit the spots you require. i usually hit 5/6 players, escalating, standard and terminator. all them kind of games show up. any private ones you like you can always pm the person and ask for the pw. some might ignore you but some will give it you. :roll:

Well, I recently put up 40 public standard games, almost all filled up in 3 hours; I suppose team games on the contrary take days/weeks? to start and clutter the Join a game page. Anyway Game finder is your friend :wink:

yeah, i play a lot of standard, unfortunately not matter what settings as long as its public new recruits always join, because they cannot join team games.

Can't believe it took until page 2 for someone to point out how much time he was wasting by using "Join A Game" instead of "Game Finder". I've never used "Join A Game", but that's 'cause I know exactly what kind of game I'm after and cannot be frigged scrolling through pages and pages only to find that noone has even started a game with my specs :lol:

I'm a little old fashioned but a year ago, all the game finder did was let you view the hasn't started yet game. It didn't have a join game link for whatever reason which I found strange.

i like standard, it is a fun gametype, i also like team games, they are fun gametypes, it is simply that standard games fill up quicker as obviously all experienced players avoid the triples games started where the first team are all majors. next you will be complaining that there are no 1 v 1's on the first page :roll:

I'm starting to like terminator games, because it's not the end of the world if you don't win, you only have to eliminate a couple of people then whatever happens you always gain a profit in points (presuming that you don't have a really high score).

if you're the highest ranked in the game they'll typically go for you because they want to make the bank off getting your points.
