Which answer ruled out the kite? It wouldn't be a firework/cracker since most kids don't play with them and adults usually are the ones setting them off

but they use it for a certain reason

This bit baffled me, and kite's don't have a reason.

Well it does say *some* kids play with them, and I've seen some kids play with them.
