N2 of The Reid technique Mafia Game

Post by SoN!c »

Devon was lunched.

The flip hit the screen with a thud that echoed through the entire forum:

Devon – VANILLA TOWN – Eliminated Day 2..

A collective gasp.
A few victory gloaters froze mid-celebration.
Someone typed, “Well… that’s unfortunate.”

A single tumbleweed emoji rolled through the carnage.

f*ck, how could we have been so wrong?

“Some of you voted with fear.
Some with frustration.
Some with calculation.”

A quiet laugh, small, knowing.

“And a few of you…
voted with knowledge.”

The lanterns flicker.

The Towns Warden walked his nightly round,
Boots on cobblestone, steady sound,
Guarding iron doors and watching skies,
Never dreaming of his own demise.

But cloaks in alleys, whispers low,
A plotting circle waits below;
With silent steps and breath held tight,
The Mafia moved to hit tonight.

A flash of muzzle, a muffled cry,
A life snuffed out beneath the sky.
The town will wake to mourning dread—
Their watchful Warden now lies dead!

And though his badge still gleams with so much pride,
It cannot shield him from this tide.

EW, TOWN WARDEN, IS SHOT!

On a serious point I'm behind the 8 ball in this game.

Didn't see Devon lynch as being sound, but it was.
Now extreme has been bumped off - didn't see that as likely.
Didn't see circumstances in which virtual townie guarantee of extreme Charle and Halrob would occur in a sonic game so wrongly thought extreme was 3p
And there's probably more but ok.

Think we're past the point with the non informative posts and simply voting to appear active. Care to add some more info, maybe your take on everything to date, opinions on players, hell don't gotta be a reach around but more then just a how do you do

Good morning!! My result was "No Result", so either mafia have a blocker, or town has a jail keeper that wanted to save me? My guess is that there is a 3P and 1 Mafia left? There was only 1 kill last night, so my guess is that 3P killed EW and Mafia could either kill or block me and chose the latter. If we can lynch 3P today, then it should be easy. Following EW's advise, today everybody should claim their roles.

@Charle, reread the scene, please. They used a gun. I'm quite sure our 3p uses poison. I think mafia got their kill through.

So, regarding Darin: He has one thing going for him; Devon voted for him. However, that might be distancing, or it might be an indication that Darin is in fact not scum. (Not disregarding 3p.)

I'd just like to say that Loose's obsession with finding the 3p is even more brilliant if Loose is in fact our 3p poisoner.

Did anyone block anyone? If you did, there's a chance you blocked the 3p poisoner.

I'm thinking. These were the votes in the end D2. And Devon got lynched. We don't know anything abour Darin or Loose Canon. I would like to hear what they have to say about their roles.

  • Devon: (5) Charle, Hjelp, Ragian, Devante. EW
    Hjelp: (1) Darin
    Darin: (2) Devon, halrob
    EW: (1) Loose Canon

I suspect that Devon wanted to get the heat taken off him so the vote may or may not have had a motive.
I have to say I was surprised at Devon that's why I switched votes, but still have Darin as suspect and Loose, yes a brilliant 3p possibility.

Charle who did you try to investigate? That would be useful information to maybe help to identify 3p

Ok I'll claim town cop.

Night 1 investigated Devon - innocent
Night 2 investigated Extreme - innocent

You need to read the Silver Blaze Loose

Colonel Ross still wore an expression which showed the poor opinion which he had formed of my companion’s ability, but I saw by the Inspector’s face that his attention had been keenly aroused.

“You consider that to be important?” he asked.

“Exceedingly so.”

“Is there any point to which you would wish to draw my attention?”

“To the curious incident of the dog in the night-time.”

“The dog did nothing in the night-time.”

“That was the curious incident,” remarked Sherlock Holmes.

Devon was Godfather and I thought Devon to be the Assassin. There are only shots fired and I read on internet that an Assassin uses a knife so the Assassin poem probably refers to the Ambusher that I think killed kongming3. I think there is only one Mafia left having the roles Ambusher and Doc (and likely roleblocker too?). Then we have 3p Poisoner and Lecter(a former FBI-agent).
Now we have two claims, Losse Canon and Charle that they are cops. It leads to that Lecter (a former FBI-agent) can be Loose Canon or Charle.
The interesting part is that I got no report N1 and no report N2. So no report hit scum. So it's of interest to know who Charle tried to investigate and if Charle got roleblocked.

or if Lecter twists all reports so that we can't rely on any of them ...

Does anyone else hate what they've done to this site and this forum?

For me its like when I switched from Lotus123 to Excel about 10 years ago, and when I changed from Supercalc to Lotus 5 years before that.
