Last set of games go out on Monday - the end of season is almost here and each league is being hotly contested at both ends!

Some of you are dragging so please try and keep up, especially if you may qualify for the FA Cup. We are considering using projection if we can't get results fast enough.

Let's take a quick look at promotions and relegation as we have some big battles ahead.

PRE - there are only three points between the top 5... As *Pixar* has more games to play and a relatively easier opposition, we are projecting top of the leaderboard but anything can change.
*Pixar* is battling luxbock and shoop76 has Wheelwright to come, stay tuned...
There is a real dogfight at the bottom with 7 to be relegated.

CHA - similarly only 4 points between top 5. elswick has a slight advantage and is projected to come top with relatively easier opposition to come.
There is still time for the players at the bottom to climb out of the relegation zone - only 4 get relegated from CHA.

L01 - it would be a shock if Devante did not finish top. Who qualifies for the FA Cup is another matter as we have only 3 points separating the next 5.

L02 - Frox333 is on top with 26 points and projected to stay top. Sparrticus is on 25 though so all to play for.
Relegation battle is hot in this league, all players have a chance to stay in L02.

L03 - neck and neck at the top between swt pimp and hbesh but they are playing each other next week so that could be a decider.
Relegation spots are not certain here with a lot of players around the 17 mark.

L04 - chrischris84 has finally been beaten so no longer an invincible but gorehound and Lord Banner still are. There is very little separating these two so it could come down to goal difference.

L05 - this is one of the closest leagues as we have 4 points separating the top 8! bobzimmerman is projected to come top but is currently playing Chewie1 and will play eric111213 next week.

L06 - aad0906 is safely at the top and projected to win the league but has to face SaberWill next week.
Avoiding relegation ought be easier in the league with the bottom players scoring low.

L07 - woolleyy is the overall top scorer and running away with it. The next four are close though , could go any way.

L08 - Sotan totally dominating and still unbeaten. Mad777 close behind with games in hand. kizkiz will need to beat Sotan next week.

L09- hard to predict. Projecting The Mad Butcher to come top but it is really tight to call with 4 points between the top 6.

Carry on fighting , and try and complete games as fast as you can - we'll have a look at standings at the end of week 8 (Monday is week 7) and see if we can confirm FA Cup placings then.

Division 9, I am winning 2 points this round vs Unai, while the Mad Butcher will be very lucky if he splits 2-2 for 1 point. If so, we will be head to head next week for first place. If he doesnt split, he will have to defeat me 3-1 to win.

Yes that is between the two of you - there are others who can win the league though - SoN!c , santymar14 and Steve Grey can win in theory.

So many permutations here, very exciting.

Next season is early Feb - we'll do the FA Cup after this season (top 2 in your league qualify) then ask for registration then start CCSL27

My personal opinion, that is almost 10-12 weeks away.

Most players are excited and enjoying this, I would try to move start date up to early January.

Chip will be away most of January and likely will not have any internet while he is away.

I am also starting my travels again early january, while I will have internet when not driving, I can not guarantee I will be around enough to ensure it all runs smoothly.

Shoop has some big work commitments coming up

And that leaves Groovy alone, and we are not going to put everything on 1 person.. That's why next round will be 1st week of Feb.

I can't pick a winner in a any league right now it is so close and last matches go out next week.

I'll probably post a bit more from Monday as every game is likely to influence the outcomes.

So it's all to play for and positions count as does every single game:
  • Hall of Fame Points
  • CC credits
  • Medals
  • Conquer Stars
  • Trophies
  • FA Cup (big bucks)
  • Promotion by 1, 2, or 3 leagues
  • Relegation by 1, 2, or 3 leagues
Don't forget you can use the notes on the Scoreboard spreadsheet for more info (e.g. tie-breaker) - hover or tap on the black triangles in the top corner of various cells.

Week 6 Review / Week 7 Preview

All season games are out, no more chances to improve your position , so we'll just do scoreboard watches especially as each league is incredibly close!

New status - DEFAULT

This is for players kicked after week 5. We don't want to VOID all matches as this stage so we'll use PPM (average points per match) to project the final 2 weeks scores and keep all the results to date.
You may see results coming up that you haven't yet played - that is as a result of a DEFAULT where there won't actually be a game played.

We think this is a lot fairer than VOIDing all matches to date and also fairer than giving remaining opponents a free win regardless of their performance. PPM is based on actual performance.

Super League Action

There is no predicting the results of any of the leagues - there are a handful of points between the top players and also the bottom players.
  • PRE
The reigning champion, Wheelwright, has climbed to the top at the best possible time after the league has been led by Clanlord Carl.
There is a three-way tie at the top with 21 points and several players below that with a shot at the title if results go their way.
They are ordered by their tie-breaker H2H results if you are wondering.
*Pixar* has a game in hand but is 1-2 down v luxbock.
  • CHA
5 points between the top 7, how do you call this league?
Keefie has been ahead for most of the season and has a game in hand but elswick has 2 games in hand and is the favourite according to projection.
Having said that elswick is 1-2 down v simplyred60 so it is wide open.
Several players are up for relegation, will be close.
  • L01
Devante is way ahead and with games in hand is the favourite for the title.
FA Cup places (1-3) is very much open for multiple players to grab.
Projection has Bada0bing to climb up with iteachjava but I am sure gqmecock and ender_w99 will want to prevent that from happening.
  • L02
2 horse race between Frox333 and Sparrticus.
Relegation also uncertain, lots of players could get dragged into this fight.
  • L03
Another 2 horse race between swt pimp and hbesh
Any number of players can claim the last FA Cup spot, who will it be ? spider.ear has the advantage right now.
  • L04
Somehow gorehound has overtaken chrischris84 who has been leading for what seems like forever.
gorehound is one of the few (five) invincibles left in CCSL26, can anyone challenge?
  • L05
A wildly unpredictable league with only six points between the top fifteen !
Projecting beardbuster, eric111213, and bobzimmerman to qualify for FA Cup but could be anyone.
  • L06
larced and aad0906 have been at the top for most of the season.
There are 3 points between the next nine players.
    FA Cup qualification unknown...
  • L07
woolleyy has been miles ahead but somehow caught up by Jim1086
Top 3 are very close with 3 points in it between jacktoo and the top.
You'll notice a DEFAULT (kicked after week 5) where we keep scores up to and including week 5 and project the remaining matches.
Players like igotaished and Amos811 have projected results to keep things fair as they won't be able to play those matches.
  • L08
Congratulations to L08 champion Sotan who now cannot be caught!
Utter domination with win streak of 6 and seven clean sheets (4-0).
  • L09
xroads v The Mad Butcher this week, key to the title.
SoN!c also in the mix playing Unai.

Thanks to all who have been playing - keep up the pace as this ultimately decides how many seasons we can have per year.
