I'm really looking forward to this, and I joined as soon as I saw it, and I sent an invite to everyone on my friends list.

But IMHO there has to say how many games it is pr. round

Round Details
1: Round 1a (1 Points per Game): Round Robin, 144 Move On, Games: 2 Players, Poly (2), Random Map, Incl. Trench More

So is this 143 games then? or should we just guess? I would say its maybe 12 groups with 12 players in each, so 11 games?

The auto function won't show groups/amount of games. There are 16 groups in round 1.

Yes so first 3 rounds are groups of 9, meaning 8 games per person vs 8 different opponents.

I'd like to thank Kingm for the invite and express one concern. I'm afraid the number of entrants is too high. I'm not sure we can get 144 people to sign up, at least not any time soon?

My pleasure mate, not that much time today and tomorrow, but on sunday I will spam every premium I find that is ranked high enough, lets see what that does to the number, hehe :)
But I do agree Pirlo, 144 seems hard to get to.

Was basing this on the 160 that signed up for the 1v1. We can always adjust if its not reachable.

Like it should probably at least be a month in signups before thinking about lowering it, that's my feeling at least.

i'm a little confused at game count.

is round 1a,1b,and 1c a single game? or exactly how does that work? what could a person estimate for game count at any one time?

or to word it different, what would the maximum number of games that could be active reasonably speaking. not counting fast players, or really slow players.

bascially, i like the sound of it, but i'd hate for my game count to climb to like 30 games all of of sudden(i have 0 games currently). especially with random maps. i would die if i got something like city mogul and the other 50 maps i never play all at once.

OK. But I'm a bumbling idiot, does that mean 8x3=24 or is it 8 random poly 2, 3, and, 4 matches.

My main question is, what can a person expect their max gameload to be? Is the awnser 8?

Rounds cannot run simultaneously, so the answer would be 8 tops for the early rounds. Should you make it to the later rounds this could run up to 15 games at once.

So somebody might have seen the numbers of signups has gone from 79/144 to 130/144.
And if anyone wonder why, its just me with to much time on my hands, I went through the like 850 highest ranked players, and sent an invite to every premium player that had not joined already.
I'm sorry if you already was signed up, or you are a freemium, I tried to do my best.

But looks like my invites did the job :)

Its automated, so the next round cannot start until the ongoing round finishes.

And there are still people with only 2 out of 8 games completed. And the poly 3 and poly 4 games will take longer than these poly 2's.

This tournament is literally going to take a year. That's ok it will be a slow burn.
