PRIZES:
See post below : Prizes

TOURNAMENT FORMAT:

This is a League Format. Each League will have 20 Players except for League 9 which has 10 players. Every Season, players will be promoted or relegated as follows:

Finish 1st: Promoted 3 Leagues
Finish 2nd: Promoted 2 Leagues
Finish 3rd-4th: Promoted 1 League
Finish 5th to 16th: Remain in Current League
Finish 17th-18th: Relegated 1 League
Finish 19th: Relegated 2 Leagues
Finish Bottom: Relegated 3 leagues

2 exceptions for balancing league numbers:

Premier League

Finish 1st to 13th: Remain in Current League
Finish 14th-17th: Relegated 1 League
Finish 18th-19th: Relegated 2 Leagues
Finish Bottom: Relegated 3 leagues

League 9

Finish 1st: Promoted 3 Leagues
Finish 2nd-3rd: Promoted 2 Leagues
Finish 4th-7th: Promoted 1 League
Finish 8th to Bottom: Remain in Current League

REST SEASONS:

A rest season can be taken where you are guaranteed to stay in your current league.
This guarantee is good for one season but not for consecutive seasons - that will result in dropping down a league via relegation.

MISSED INVITES:

If you do miss invites, you will be sent fresh invites one more time - if you miss those without any communication that is reasonable grounds for removing you from this season's tournament.
Players removed from tournament after season has started will have all of their matches VOID to keep things fair for the rest of the league and no more games will be sent to that player.

If players repeatedly miss invites after Week 5 they will be DEFAULTed - PPMs will be used to project scores for the remaining matches that have not been joined.

In this case all scores are kept but for the last 2 weeks of unplayed matches, we use PPM to project the scores.

This is fairer than VOIDing the matches or assigning 3-0 to opponent as PPM is based on actual performance to date.

MAPS:

Random Map is permitted as the HOME MAP.
Some maps ARE EXCLUDED including the slowest Maps on these settings with an average round time of over 12 Rounds:

Image
100 credits per win with additional rewards for winner and runner-up.

LEAGUE FASTEST PLAYER:
100 Credits (Lowest Days in League with all available matches completed)

EXAMPLES:
Win FA Cup + Premier League Champion + Premier League Fastest Player = 3500 + 1200 + 100 = 4800 credits
Win FA Cup + League 9 Champion + League 9 Fastest Player = 3500 + 100 + 100 = 3700 credits
Runner up FA Cup + League 6 Champion + League 6 Fastest Player = 1200 + 100 + 100 = 1400 credits
16th in FA Cup + League 1 Champion = 100 + 400 = 500 credits
8th in FA Cup + League 2 Champion = 200 + 200 = 400 credits

CC Super League Scoreboard Guide

The scoreboard is packed with features you may not be aware of , let's take a walkthrough.

Notes - the scoreboard is not meant to come with instructions so there are notes everywhere to give you descriptions on what the data is saying like this:

Image

Just hover over cells with the above mark on them.

Let's start with the first row:
  • Fastest Player in League - lowest days played in-game and highest matches played. As the league table already sorts tie-breakers out this will pick out player in the highest table position with lowest days.
  • Fastest League - this chart tracks % progress of game completion rates per league towards season total
  • Active Games - this chart tracks oldest week games that are still active
  • Updated - date when scoreboard was last updated
  • Week - current game week
League Table
  • All data is available to figure out tie-breakers - Points, Head-to-Head (see grid), most 4-0s, most 3-1s, lowest Days
  • Rank - CC rank
  • Status - ACTIVE, REST (keep spot in league), KICKED or DEFAULT- KICKED players void all matches and can be relegated, REST matches are never scheduled.DEFAULTed players (kicked after week 5) have their last 2 weeks matches projected.
  • Matches - Matches completed (set of 4 games)
  • Form - Match results in order
    Image
  • Best Streak - longest streak of consecutive wins (4-0 or 3-1) - X squares do not count as a win but they do not break win streaks (consecutive green / blue squares). For example:
    Image
    • Row 1: X square does not count as a win but it does not break win (green / blue) streaks so the biggest streak is 6.
    • Row 2: The green / blue squares are not broken up by anything so the biggest win streak is 5.
    • Row 3: There are 2 streaks of 2 - the 2 blue squares and the green X blue combination - X does not count as a win but it does not break the streak
    • Row 4: There is a green / blue win streak of 2
  • Days - total number of days elapsed for all games in completed matches timed from game start to game end.
  • Rounds - total number of rounds elapsed for all games in completed matches timed from game start to game end.
Game section
  • Games - Games completed including partial matches
  • Home - Games won/total of home maps - if Random selects this map, it will count. If home map is Random, the 2 mandatory Random games per match count as a home map.
  • Away - Games won/total of non-home maps - if away map is the home map or is Random and selects the home map, it will count as a home map.
  • Fouls - number of games player has been kicked by system for missing too many turns
  • 4-0 number of matches won 4-0, 3-1 number of matches won 3-1 etc
  • GF = games won (4 for 4-0, 3 for 3-1 etc)
  • GA = games lost (4 for 0-4, 3 for 1-3 etc)
  • GD = GF - GA
Points Section
  • Points - 3 for 4-0, 2 for 3-1, 1 for 2-2

    Image
  • PPM - average points per match - during the season players play at different speed so this is a measure of performance over matches played
  • PPM Past - this is the average PPM of all opponents played in the player's past completed matches.
  • PPM Next - this is the average PPM of all remaining opponents including incomplete active matches.
  • Run-In - (PPM Past - PPM Next) / PPM Past - this measures the relative PPM of past and remaining opponents to see if the next matches are easier or harder than the past ones.
A positive score means the past players have a higher average PPPM than the next opponents. (Easier matches remaining)
A negative score means the past players have a lower average PPM than the next opponents. (Harder matches remaining)

    Image
In the example

Player 1 has 27% harder matches to come.
Player 2 has 18% easier matches to come.
Player 4 has 100% harder matches to come. (Remaining opponents PPM Next have double PPM compared to previous ones PPM Past)
  • Projected - projected points at end of season - Current Points + (PPM x (PPM-Past / PPM-Next) x Matches remaining) - this projects end of season points based on current PPMs
  • Next season - if player retains position then they will be in this league next season
  • Promotions/Relegations - the row is coloured green/red
  • The solid black line shows who qualifies for CC FA Cup if positions don't change
Invincibles
This row is identical to the Player column except it is the left side of the grid and coloured gold if the player has not lost a match 1-3 or 0-4
Grid
The column with the invincibles serves as the left side of the grid and it is a matrix showing results between players and the schedule of when they are due to play.
The grid is ordered by position in both directions so that means the top players are also running from left to right as well as top to bottom.
REST - player is having a rest season
VOID - player has been removed from season and all matched void
LATE - score is 0-0 after more than week after games sent out
MISS - this is an end of season measurement if the match was never scheduled
Leaderboard
Leaderboard for:
  • Speed - lowest number of average days played per completed match
  • Clean Sheets - highest number of 4-0s
  • CC Rank - highest CC Rank
  • League Points - highest league points
  • Win Streaks - longest streak of consecutive wins
  • % Home Wins - highest % wins on home maps
  • % Away Wins - highest % wins on non-home maps
  • Efficiency - lowest number of average rounds played per completed match
  • Golden Boot - highest number of goals scored
  • Strike rate - % wins per game
  • Strength - highest average points scored per match
Past Results Tab
Final results for each season will be published in a new tab
Hall of Fame Tab
Hall of Fame is a points system that has been historically used to reward league champions.
The tab shows how many points were awarded each season and adds up the totals to make a leaderboard.
The gold highlighting indicates any player that was champion of any league for at least 2 consecutive seasons
Banned Maps Tab
Banned Maps are the result of maps taking too many rounds (12 is the current benchmark)
This is an ongoing cumulative measurement each season
Players cannot select banned maps as their home map but it is currently permitted for Random maps to select them
Tips
  • How can I find a player on the scoreboard? - CTRL+F (Cmd + F on Mac) will open a box in the top right where you can type a name in and you will see green highlights where they are found
  • How are the top positions doing against each other? - the grid is ordered exactly the same as the league table so you only need to look at the upper left corner to see their matches.
  • Same goes for relegation battles - the bottom right corner will show how the lowest positions are doing against each other.
  • How can I work out how many matches I have this week? The form which will indicate blue for scheduled matches that are incomplete or black for skipped matches due to rest/kicked players
  • How can I work out who I am playing each week?Use the grid to see who you are playing each week.
  • How do I work out who will get promoted or relegated? The league table rows are coloured green for promotions and red for relegations - these will be final at season end.
  • How do I work out which league I will be in next season? The Next Season column in the league table at season end will answer this question.
  • How do I work out who has qualified for the CC FA Cup? Everyone above the solid black line in the league table at season end qualify for the CC FA Cup.
  • How do I work out my home/away performance? The Home and Away columns in the league table show exactly how many games have been won from the total played.

As a result of knowing how many leagues we have ,we've updated the details for the CC FA Cup in the first post of this thread.

We'll have 32 players qualifying - top 3 from each league except the small lowest league which we'll take the top 2 players

So everything to play for

CCSL26 Week 1 Preview

The brand new Super League starts on Monday at 0900 CCT, it's almost here...

Please familiarise yourselves with the Main Thread OP

10000+ credits are up for grabs and you can win credits in 3 different ways!

The new scoreboard is packed with features (hover over the tick marks to get more info):
  • Scoreboard showing current scores
  • Promotions and Relegations
  • Grid showing results and schedule
  • Invincibles - players who have not lost a match
  • Hall of Fame - past champions, win streaks and HoF points
  • Banned Maps
  • Previous season results
It is intentional that the scoreboard only shows completed matches but the grid will show partial results so you can follow matches as they progress.

The matchups have been decided and you can see the schedule in the grid - there are some notable matches to watch next week:
  • Premier : Wheelwright v luxbock . 2 Hall of Fame titans. Wheelwright is the reigning champion of the Premier League and will want a good start, whilst luxbock has just been promoted into Premier .
  • Championship: Ewebasher v Heads or Tails. Ewebasher promoted from League 1 faces a tough opponent who had a streak of being league champion for an incredible 7 times in row!
  • League 3: FUUF v Generalbrewsie. FUUF was one of a small number of Invincibles last season, never losing a match winning League 7.
  • League 4: chrischris84 v aalii. chrischris84 was also an Invincible last season winning League 9 and faces a 2-time Champion in aalii.

1500+ games sent out. Some of you need to become active to receive invites but once that is sorted out we have a full set of games.

Please accept the invites asap so we can get moving - next week you will have another 8 games on Monday.

The scoreboard will update as games finish.

Have fun!

Thanks!

FUUF just won a game (scored a goal) so good opportunity to demonstrate that the scoreboard won't be updated until a match is completed (deliberate) but the grid is updated so you can see FUUF is 1-0 up.

Chipv,
Fantastic job! I love seeing the matches and the individual matches separately as they are completed. Very smart way to do it. And you seem to have it updating in real time or close to it! I was privy to some of the technical mechanics of the previous Super League. That technology would have been too painful to implement. But you seem to have a well-connected infrastructure to provide that capability. Very nice!

Also, kudos for overcoming the obstacles to piecing together the results from SL25.

An idea:
Can you show what used to be called the "Usain Bolt" standings to show which leagues are completing their games/matches at the fastest clip? This encourages players to get to playing!

Again, very impressed with your solution here.
