it appears we have ourselves a winner.
congrats to templeyard with an 11-4 record. (.733)
there are still 2 games active, but they will bring no changes when they finish.
this was pretty easy tournament as far as organizing, games were fast, not too many to create per round. and it finished really quickly. i'm going to do another one here shortly. like within the week. i will make a few tweaks, tho. i think it will make it more competitive.
i'm going to have 3 rounds of round robin play. dropping bottom 4 each round.
1st round, 16 players = 15 games each in 3 batches
2nd round, 12 players = 11 games each in 2 batches
3rd round, 8 players = 7 games each in 2 batches

Does Score reset to zeor after each round or players take previous round scores to next round ?WILLIAMS5232 wrote:it appears we have ourselves a winner.

I think you have to keep your scores. It would be like giving 1st place a penalty if you don't.chanakam2020 wrote:Does Score reset to zeor after each round or players take previous round scores to next round ?WILLIAMS5232 wrote:it appears we have ourselves a winner.

Another way to do it would be like a sailboat race, you could run like 5-10 and get scores for each

If points are carry forward to next round then here is another possible scoring tweak.WILLIAMS5232 wrote:I think you have to keep your scores. Players keep points only from those who advanced to next round.
For example:
Assume Player A scored 8 points in Round 1, but 4 out of those 8 are against bottom 4 players who will not go to Round 2
Then Player A will carry forward Only 4 Points to Round 2.
Assume Player B scored 8 points in Round 1 and those all 8 wins come againt top 12 players.
Then Player B will carry forward all his 8 Points to Round 2.
.
If removing points against eliminated players then half of those points also a posibility.
For example:
Assume Player A scored 8 points in Round 1, but 4 out of those 8 are against bottom 4 players who will not go to Round 2
Then Player A will carry forward 4 + 0.5 *4 = 6 points to Round 2.
.
& I forgot to Congraluate the winner in my previos reply.
Congratulations templeyard !!!
& Thank you WILLIAMS5232 for Organizing !!!
