Soldierforchrist declined the invite. Sometimes its a mistake, I know I've mistakenly done it myself.

Anyway, I sent a pm last night, which still hasn't been opened. If I don't hear anything past a day from when I sent it, I'm gonna start looking for a replacement.

This is why there is a game with an empty spot in case anyone was curious.

basically, until you win a game, you're not in the tournament yet. and winning your first game only moves you to phase 2. so, the game you are playing now, will score some points, but it's just like bonus points for advancing before the final trial games are complete. the players that have points logged at the moment. are the players that won the first round of trial games. since you won the second set of trial games, you haven't had a practice game complete yet. to be clear, trial games do not score points. ( they can take away points still if you accidentally kill someone else's target. ) practice games do score points, but they are not full credit like the phase 2 and phase 3 games will be scored.

i understand it so well, because i made the rules. i get that it's alot to take in because i typed a small novel. but i'll try and make it cliff note style below, and hopefully that helps.

phase 1;
trial games.
1st set, Five 6 player games means 5 players advance to practice games, 25 players remain in trial games
2nd set, Five 5 player games +One 5 player practice game. 5 more players advance to practice games, 20 remain
3rd set, Four 5 player games +Two 5 player practice games. 4 more players advance to practice games,16 remain
4th set, Four 4 player games +Two 7 player practice games. 4 more players advance to practice games, 12 remain
5th set, Two 6 player games +Three 6 player games. 2 more players advance to phase 2, and the other 10 miss the cut.

phase one trial games will not be scored. practice games will score bonus points. you can see the points allocation in OP
Spoiler
phase 2; this will remove 4 players leaving a 16 player field for next phase. you will be placed in Four 5 player groups. first player to get eliminated 2x's in each group misses next phase 1st set, Two 5 player games. every set after, One 4 or 5 player game. each game will score points until all 4 groups has eliminated 1 player. each group will get the same number of games, meaning, even if group A eliminates a player after 2nd game, they'll still play a game for points while the other groups still have 5 players.
score table for phase 2, 3, and 4, are all the same. which can be found in OP

so, i feel like i'm just typing the same info at this point as i did in the OP. so i'm going to stop. i think the part above that is labeled phase 1 should be enough to clear things up. i'm going to spoiler tab the rest, because i just think it's quite alot and no one is really going to read it, but at the same time, i don't want to delete it because i typed alot and i'd hate to do all that in vain.

i hope you have a clear understanding now, if not let me know. because i do want you to know what you're doing.

so, it looks like dolphin went awol. it wouldn't be a problem so much, but he has already advanced out of the trial games. so i can't just find a replacement and throw that person in because it wouldn't be fair to the people that havene't won a trial game yet.

i filled in his spot on the practice game, and will just play the game, if i win, the points disappear.

it's good news for the players in trial games, instead of two 6 player games for the final round, i'll make three 4 player games to fill the extra spot.

So, a brief recap;

Your 1st win was because kevi killed your target, that nullified that game, if you remember, that's what the doodle game was about, it replaced the one kevi blundered.

Your second win was legitimate, however, it wasn't a point game, it was the game that put you in the tournament, any win from here on out you will score points.

We start with a field of 30, we will narrow that down to a field of 20. Those 20 will all have successfully made 1 assasination.

The field of 20 will then be trimmed to 16, 4 groups of 5 will play until 1 player from each group gets assasinated twice. All of these games will score points

The game you are in right now, is a practice game. It's like extra credit. There are other players still on trial games, there will be one more practice game after this one. Which will also score points.

Basically. Your first win doesn't score points, but every game after will.

Its all in the OP, I realize it's a lot to read, and it probably sounds confusing if you were to read it all, but in my brain it makes perfect sense. :lol:

ok, scores updated, last trial games sent. remember, if you haven't won a practice game, you will not have a score. the first win only advances you to the tournament.

also, this appears it will be a pretty long winded tournament. but be brave, it should speed up a bit when the actual games start, we are not even in the meat of the tournament yet. :-$

you have to win a game first to get on the board. i'm scared to tell you, this game is your last chance to do so. good luck. :shock:

don't worry tho. i think i'm going to have to make a reserve game. i feel like there will be a few dropouts. so if you don't make this game, there is still a chance to stay in if you want to hang around waiting for a dropout.
