Re: Las Vegas
I've been going to Vegas many times in the last 4 decades.
It's all doom and gloom with that video you posted.
Book your flight and hotel with Travelocity or some other vendor and you will save a sh!tload of money.
Food is cheap in Vegas if you know how to get comps from these casinos.
LONG LIVE VEGAS!

Wealthy Republicans are boring. And never lay crying in the street. I much prefer whining illogical Democrats! They bump real good.....

Re: Las Vegas
It ain't as bad as this video suggests. Gambling revenue is down as is visitation but I think alot of that you can point to the fact that there are casinos all over the place now vs 10-15 years ago when only a handful of status had full blown casino options...let alone all the online options people have now. I think Vegas has 'peaked' and will probably keep bleeding but there is still loads of people still going and gambling and it's still a ton of fun. It also depends on who you go with I guess, it's not the best for family trips but if you are going with a gambler you probably won't end up paying resort fees or parking fees or for meals or your room lol.2dimes wrote:So, should brightline west pull the plug yet? Sounds like we need to go with Pack Rat.
I liked when you could get breakfast for under $5 just by showing up.

Not a huge wine drinker but… Yeah I get along ok with Mook, my body is too old to go snowboarding with him and his kid but I would definitely go disc golfing with him. Plus we both like barbecue.
He did get me playing craps. Not sure if that’s a plus or minus…

Mooks a party animal. I'd have a beer with him or ugh, wine, any damn day.

Re: Las Vegas
That’s interesting, it was potentially going to be the week around the 25th. Unfortunately, things have unraveled rather quickly. Good thing I didn’t book one of those non-refundable flights. Unless I get a new sponsor or something I’m probably going to miss out this year.I’ll alert you if things change back.

Re: Las Vegas
Why on earth would someone "sponsor" you for a trip to Vegas?
Are you suddenly a celebrity? A professional gambler??
Newsflash: you need personality, demonstrated skill and tenure for those careers. Oh...and careers involve WORKING.
Unbelievable.
