The most recent 3 maps have been sent out and all of the games have now started.

Currently at the top is Demonfork on 81 points but I am a few games out of date on the scoring behind them in joint second is Magplunka69 and 2007SpaceOdyssey both a couple of points behind on 79 they are also tied for the most wins on 17 a piece.

Yo all I have sent out another 3 maps so everyone has 18 new games waiting Though 2 more players have dropped out Josko.ri and halrob64 but luckily I had not sent any games before I knew you were both dropping out So hopefully all the rest of you are still up for the challenge

On to better news Demonfork is still in first with 104 points and 20 kills closely behind them is YouOnKazoo and Darin44 both with 101 points In 4th matching Demon with 20 kills but tying 3 other players matching them on 100 Unai, D3A7H and Shoop76

We have a new leader on the scoreboard 2007SpaceOdyssey pipping Demonfork by 3 points for 121 total, also has the most wins on 25 also 3 above Demon and JJ41375 who are in second and third respectively Evil Semp is in joint third with JJ.

Next I decided to count how many accidents each player has had and leading on needing new glasses or to check the overview more carefully is TheElkSpeaks on 3 accidents closely followed by The Warrior65 and Raptors both giving away 2 kills. There have been 21 total accidents to date or 2.9% of the games. So try to be more careful and not kill the wrong targets

One of those three was on purpose because I was down to one territ and guaranteed dying the next turn so not being the player killed was the best way to lose it .... the other two we don't talk about

Been a quick week and we were all running out of games again. Another player has chosen to withdraw from the competition so we lose lord arioch. At the rate we are losing players we are scheduled to lose another 4-6 players but I am hoping not to

3 players (farinelli, RiskMaster101 and 2007SpaceOdyssey) are tied for most wins at 28 a piece for a roughly 27% win rate Speaking of the top of the leaderboard I think a diffent player has been at the top after each time I update the scores this week currently it is farinelli on 141, followed by riskmaster101 on 140 with 2007SpaceOdyssey and luxbock on 137, so lots of leap frogging going on up there

Looks like we will cross the middle point of the tournament next week So good luck in the games and have fun maybe we will finally get to play on Eurasia Mini last of the 11 maps to be picked to play on

Nearly another week passed and a majority of the last batch of games finished (61%) So 3 more maps were lined up and sent out London, upper Egypt and Doodle. So Eurasia is still being shy and not showing it's face 5 out of the 11 maps only have 1 out of their 4 choice left so will they all be played before Eurasia is forced out of hiding

Onto some less esoteric thoughts the scores (well slightly out of date scores 8 games finished since I updated them and I cba to do it now so will do it tomorrow) Farinelli is on top with 162 points and 31 kills (well 32 but one was for Silly Knig-it ) Nipping at their heels is 2007SpaceOdyssey with 32 kills but only 160 points :O in 3rd is Demonfork on only 158 and 28(29) kills.

We have crossed the half way point once the current invites are all accepted but things are incredibly tight so it could be anyone tournament still especially those of us sitting in the top half or third. Maybe there is extra luck involved in these small maps but they are fun and quick

Games were once more running out So I sent out another 2 maps and we finally found where I left the Eurasia Mini maps We also crossed the 1000 games finished in the tournament :O just under 1000 to go depending if anyone else drops out

The number of accidents happening seems to have dropped recently lets hope that trend continues and we can get it to less than 2% of the games than the 2.77% we are currently sitting at

Onto the top of the scores none of the 4 I mentioned last time around is currently top of the dog pile Though not completely new to the top spots at this time -3 games is: JJ41375 with 184 points and 34 kills , then still in the running is Farinelli just behind on 180 and 35 kills in 3rd and 4th both on 178 points are 2007SpaceOdyssey 34 kills and YouOnKazoo just 32 kills

Okie dokie I am in a good mood I developed a userscript that allows me to cut my time sending invites by a lot so what would have taken me like 3 hours only took me 1 even with me accidently sending out 40 wrong games

We are at 29 of 44 so really getting into the back end of the tournament and Egypt: Nubia is the first map that has been completely selected so these are the last time we visit Egypt or the Nubia version at least

JJ41375 is still sitting on top as I write this update but only by 1 point over Farinelli also being the first person to cross 200 points In 3rd place is Unai with 195 points and in joint 4th is RiskMaster101 and Chanakam2020 both on 193.

For the kills leader is some of the same names though Farinelli is leading here with 38 kills, and JJ41375 is in joint 2nd with Marie LaVeaux both with 36

Crazystef did not accept the latest invites and hasn't visited the site since Tuesday so I have removed them from the tournament and redistributed the 5 players from the blue games into the other 5 so sent out 15 new invites, 5 have already been accepted so just 10 to go for us to be at 45 players left

Okie dokie more games have been sent out Another 2 maps down just 13 maps to go It also means 2 more maps have been completely sent out with Ireland and USA West

Now to talk about the current scores in joint 1st on 217 are Farinelli and checks notes Plurple yay that is me with 41 and 40 kills respectively, though I have finished 3 more games than Farinelli has soooo.. In 3rd with 215 points and 38 kills is JJ41375 and 4th is Luxbock with 213 and only 33 kills

Still a bit to go so still anyone's tournament. Well maybe not anyone's but definitely the top 10-15 more if you have a good run of games

Games were getting low again so I have sent out 3 more maps Though a few of the slower players are higher than I would like at 31 but the average is 25

We have a new leader on the scoreboard which is great especially as it is me Plurple leading with 239 points and 45 kills in joint 2nd we have Farinelli and JJ41375 on 236 points with 43 and 42 kills each respectively just behind them in 4th is RiskMaster101 on 234 points and 42 kills

Just 10 more maps after the current maps to go the tournament is winding up and I hope I can keep up my hot streak

TheTrueNorth has missed invites for this tournament so I have once again split the 6th game per map up and sent new invites for the 5 missing spots in the other games to the 5 players in that game

Just remember the maps are all small so lots of luck involved but also you have a win % nearly 19% which is better than the expected 16.6% so you are doing well

Okie dokie please direct any pitchforks and torches at D3A7H who told me to go for a 4 map batch not a 3 map one But in better news for some who want less games just 6 more maps after the current batch so just 2 more batches after today so I should finish sending you games for this tournament in just 2 weeks with the tournament finishing hopefully not to long after that

Onto the great news at least for me sitting on top of the score board is me plurple with 269 points and 51 kills, currently I am sitting 4 points ahead of 2nd JJ41375 who is on 265 and 47 kills, bit of a gap to 3rd Farinelli on 259 and 46 kills with 4th luxbock just a point behind them 258 but only 39 kills and lastly in +250 club 5th place RiskMaster101 on 256 and 47 kills Us 5 have the best chance of winning though others are probably mathematically in the running but I hope it is me

ok the penultimate batch of games has just been sent out I made the decision to remove Silly Knig-it from the competition due to missing lots of turns and being kicked from games. There are an average of 42.7 games left each or 39-47 more specifically

On to the good stuff the top of the score board is Plurple on 298 and 56 kills 12 points clear of 2nd Farinelli on 286 and 50 kills, Joint 3rd on 285 points with 53 and 47 kills each are RiskMaster101 and D3A7H and JJ41375 in 5th with 284 and 50 kills

While I do have a bit of a lead at the top Riskmaster101 and JJ41375 has 4 more games to play than me in the top 5 so they can nearly catch up if they win all 4 of them and theoretically anyone in the top half can probably win though being closer to the top gives you an advantage
