Re: D3 of The Mafiosi Vincent Vega Vengeful game
This doesn't make sense at least one or more of the vanillas are lying
Town
Traf = Reporter
Max = Friednly neightbour
Loose = Vigilante
Then Vanillas?
Charle, Homer, Kong and Kingm
Then we have Dev who did not move last night so either Vanilla as well or Arsonist who did not move and Rag who might be a cop or Arsonist or maybe another role, but then we do not have a cop.
I still think Charle is the one that is lying

So I think this.
Town
Traf = Reporter
Max = Friednly neightbour
Loose = Vigilante
Townish
kong - If I have to believe one of the vanilals is Kongm he has been tryign to figure things out, maybe he is vanilla but had some tools as he asked me about a gun, and also there was some talk about handcufs.
Dev - I checked on him he did not move. So likely Vanilla
Neutral
Rag - Either Cop, Arsonist or Scum
Sus
Homer - he claimed Vanilal with 0 pressure on him
Kingm - He has been absent, claimend Vanilla, but being the last to cleam Vanilal does not mean anything as Vanilal is a safe claim for sucm to do early
Mafia
Charle - As I said he has been blending in, switching from one wagon to another - Arsonist or Scum

Re: D3 of The Mafiosi Vincent Vega Vengeful game
i'm getting swayed by some of the arguments - especially the one that this isn't about finding one mafia member, it's about finding them all. so targeting one of the other suspects besides traf does have it's benefits. a question though.. we no longer need a majority vote, but what happens if the vote is tied at nightfall?

In case of a tie at nightfall: between the equal vote tied players, the player who got first vote is lynched.homer_jay wrote:i'm getting swayed by some of the arguments - especially the one that this isn't about finding one mafia member, it's about finding them all. so targeting one of the other suspects besides traf does have it's benefits. a question though.. we no longer need a majority vote, but what happens if the vote is tied at nightfall?

Re: D3 of The Mafiosi Vincent Vega Vengeful game
As I mentioned previously, town will not loose much by lynching me, but also not gain anything. I am very happy for town to lynch me though.
What I am sure about is that Traf is wrong and I am definitely Vanilla Town. My suspicion on Traf is even higher as he is fishing out who the Cop is, making it easier for Scum tonight.
I do not agree that I changed my opinion so many times, I really believed Traf was town until his claim of reporter which I for some reason do not buy. From there it was constant.

Although I'm suspicious of Charle, he makes a reasonable point about Traf maybe cop fishing.
Particularly since Traf said rag was maybe cop in his latest post.
If anyone is cop, the credibility of cop ISH reporter is blown completely out of the water.
Sloppy slippy fishy from Traf again.

Kong, rag I'm not asking each of you to vote just yet, but where are each of your votes likely heading and why?

Re: D3 of The Mafiosi Vincent Vega Vengeful game
@Dev, what you see as "hard defending Charle", I see as trying to figure out Loose's argument. If he uses one argument to towncall someone and doesn̈́'t apply the exact same argument to someone else, it's fishy. Now, he's cleared his reasoning up for me, saying that he reads Kong differently from Charle due to his posts, not (only) due to Kong voting Traf.
@Loose, not much has changed to be honest. I was going to vote Traf D2, but you ruined that for us. It's actually bugging me a bit. I was quite confident that we would've lynched Traf D2 if you hadn't gone all Loose Cannon on the poor wolf. I can still be persuaded to vote Traf. I could also vote for homer, kong, and king, but that's more to do with them being very eager to claim, and, perhaps, homer being a bit reserved with his reasonings.
Charle, however, I can't see right now. It's obvious that he may have improved his scum game, but him being very clear that he doesn't fear the rope comes off as genuine to me. He was also gunning hard for Traf D2 when questioned.
I agree with Traf, however, that scum lurks between the VT claims (not factoring in the possibility that a cop hides between the VT claims).

Re: D3 of The Mafiosi Vincent Vega Vengeful game
Let's break it down a bit more.
- What do we learn from lynching Traf? If town, Dev is semi-cleared. Max is doubly cleared.
- What do we learn from lynching Charle or any other of the VTs? I need to reread the thread to figure that out.
Anyone, feel free to chip in.

Re: D3 of The Mafiosi Vincent Vega Vengeful game
I'm at least 90% sure we have a cop, and we know for 100% sure there is a player who is Jim Meeks who is very likely to be said cop. I think if they are not a cop (which I find to be very unlikely) they should come forward at some point today to say as such and we can conceivably move on from Traf, but otherwise I think Traf will inevitably still be the most suspicious. It is very frustrating though that vig made such a scum-favoured and unnecessary move last day, I'd have felt a lot more comfortable with most lynches at that point of the game than now. It almost makes me think Vig could be a mafia traitor, but I don't think that's a train of thought worth pursuing for now at least.

I'm not fishing out Cop. 7 out of 9 players have already claimed. 1 did not move last night thereofre is no cop.Charle wrote:As I mentioned previously, town will not loose much by lynching me, but also not gain anything. I am very happy for town to lynch me though.

I agree with rag that Cop might have claimed vanilla early on which is a good way to avoide gettign targeted. I did not mention that cause indeed I'm not trying to figure out who the cop is but who the scum is.
Now it's the seond time you don't mind being lynched. That's is totally anti-town atitude today. i ddin't mind do be lynched yesterday as my role it's not tha good and we still ahd Doc and jailkeeper. but I for sure do mind getting lynched today. if we do not lynch a scum its gonna be 5 town, 2 mafia 1 arsonist. at night without a doc another townie is dying most likely tha is 4,2,1 for tmro that Arsonist do not start killing and evne tho could hit amfia could hit town as well. And all that without considering the traitor possibility.
So you saying twice you don't mind being lynched it's anti-town for sure
Re: D3 of The Mafiosi Vincent Vega Vengeful game
That's exactly how I felt about that move. My paranoid brain went, "What if it is a one shot day kill to make up for a town favoured setup?" But...he's cleared through the scene, right?kongming3 wrote:I'm at least 90% sure we have a cop, and we know for 100% sure there is a player who is Jim Meeks who is very likely to be said cop. Traf, what I mean don't mind being lynched, is rather me than any other important role town has. We cannot afford to loose more PR's for town. So what is wrong with that? Also better that the stronger town players stay alive.

All the significant town PR's are already dead. Folks, let's just lynch Charle.Charle wrote:Traf, what I mean don't mind being lynched, is rather me than any other important role town has. Probably a seat in the grand stand?Ragian wrote:What will you get out of lynching Charle?
No, there will be no benefit to me or town apart from the fact that town lynched a VT instead of PR.
Re: D3 of The Mafiosi Vincent Vega Vengeful game
All town PR roles revealed have (to no great surprise) matched up exactly to the list of town roles guaranteed by mod. Those are Cop, Doctor, Vigilante, Jailkeeper, and Firefighter. We have explicit confirmation of literally all but Cop, and tons of evidence otherwise that continues to guarantee we have a cop in the game. Jim Meeks has also not publicly came out and claimed to be vanilla somehow and not cop after being asked to do so if that was the case (and again, he's explicitly a police detective, and guaranteed not Traf).
We have a cop.
Don't need to force a lynch early, but very much need an effective and logical lynch by day's end. Vote Traf. He is both the most likely by far to be scum, and also the person for whom town would gain the most information in the unlikely event of a mislynch: Tons of voting history records, and confirmation of information he's claimed which currently is otherwise functionally worthless due to him being likely scum.

we have so much suspicion about Traf. i don't think it makes sense to try moving on without finding out for sure whether that suspicion is correct or not. it seems so obvious he's scum that judgements about others are being made on how they're reacting to him.. need to get 100% certainty to find out if those other thoughts are valid or not

Re: D3 of The Mafiosi Vincent Vega Vengeful game
Just want to add that I think cop should potentially reveal if we're about to lynch someone they've investigated or if they've found scum, but otherwise should not reveal lightly especially with scum having a role blocker that could permanently block them once revealed even if protected.
