Re: D1 of The Mafiosi Vincent Vega Vengeful game
Yep Ill join the sonic appreciation society too.
In this game I think it's time players should
Air suspicions or reveal anything from any day actions if they intend to D1.
And/or start or join a lynching or vote no lynch.

Re: D1 of The Mafiosi Vincent Vega Vengeful game
Deadline D1 is set approx sunday april 13, 2025 10:00 am. So in about 9 real life days... give or take. If its going slow deadline will be shorter. Remember you can always vote "no lynch" if you don't wanna use the time

Re: D1 of The Mafiosi Vincent Vega Vengeful game
I'd switch back to no lynch by the way if it would end the day but my vote at the moment wouldn't be enough

Re: D1 of The Mafiosi Vincent Vega Vengeful game
Yeah I think it'll be hard to get much more out of this day tbh.
Re: D1 of The Mafiosi Vincent Vega Vengeful game
King checking in to checking in, waiting for N1 and D2.
Re: D1 of The Mafiosi Vincent Vega Vengeful game
I don't understand why everyone is keen to ignore D1. No talking, no poking, no probing play into the hands of scum. We need D1 shenanigans for the long run. While it may make no sense how things unfold at the moment, it's useful information for later in the game.

Re: D1 of The Mafiosi Vincent Vega Vengeful game
I wonder how serious players take the 72hrs because I was getting close myself.

Re: D1 of The Mafiosi Vincent Vega Vengeful game
It's probably more important how serious Son!c takes it.

Im getting the feeling that EW and Strike are almost deliberately ignoring it

Re: D1 of The Mafiosi Vincent Vega Vengeful game
There are 2 (secret) safety barriers to prevent an arsonist slugfest. So play the game like this is a vanilla/goon fest. If you get auto-primed and burn you more then deserved it for being AWOL too long... Good riddance - burn baby burn. This is serious.

Re: D1 of The Mafiosi Vincent Vega Vengeful game
Posting to not get out of here. I tried to get rid of as much games as possible to have some more time, hopefully next week will be better.
Anyway I don't think we can get much out of here but in this case I think there are more roles of what we could expect in a a normal set up cause I'm sure Sonic will like to do do some flashy things. So hopefully there are much more info from D2 onwards

Re: D1 of The Mafiosi Vincent Vega Vengeful game
i don't want to vote to lynch someone because, with very little info, the odds are a townie gets lynched. but... if someone is auto-primed anyways, lynching them won't hurt since they're a free kill.
so how far away is that auto-prime?

Re: D1 of The Mafiosi Vincent Vega Vengeful game
The point is never a lynch in itself. It is to pressure people and see what gives. And in case of a lynch, it is to go back a few days into the future to make connections.
Right now, everyone gets a free ride.

Seems really early to make this decision.
I'd for one want to know why Loose wants to hear about possible day actions when role reveal this early rarely works out well for town.

This. Talking and pressuring gives us something to go on. It could be wrong. Day 1 usually is but that doesn't mean it isn't useful.
Also auto No lynching D1 is just boring.

Re: D1 of The Mafiosi Vincent Vega Vengeful game
EW's point normally is that a "No Lynch" day 1 is giving the first move to scum. Traf on the other hand normally say that we do not have enough info on D1, so the chances that we waste a good townie on D1 is good, so he would rather go no lynch.
In this game I feel the same as Traf at the moment and therefore my vote went to "No Lynch" so we can get into night and maybe tomorrow have a bit more to work with.
EW is very quiet this game, maybe he is the Arsonist?

Re: D1 of The Mafiosi Vincent Vega Vengeful game
Traf, I didn't mean to suggest I wanted to hear about possible day actions.
I think what I said was if someone had taken day 1 actions and there was a consideration of whether to reveal or not D1 then a sooner rather than later D1 reveal would be better.
There's a bit of a difference - at least in what I was trying to say.

Would honestly crack me up if he was the arsonist when he tried pin it on me due to my choice of words. That would be a ballsy move. Why don't you vote, Charle?Charle wrote:EW's point normally is that a "No Lynch" day 1 is giving the first move to scum. I sorta think Traf is positioning himself opposite of me D1.
I'm wondering if that is a deliberate gambit on trafs part?

Re: D1 of The Mafiosi Vincent Vega Vengeful game
NEWSFLASH - "This is the tuesday midweek intermezzo brought to you LIVE on a mondayevening for the scoop": we bring you another flavour phone call between Johny "The Nose" and Big Tony "Two Guns". You heared it first here folks!
(phone rings...Big Tony picks up the phone):
Johny "The Nose": Morning boss.
Big Tony: Morning Johny. What's up?
Johny "The Nose": Me and Paulie got a crew together and splashed some G around to get tips in on that pyrokiller boss.
Big Tony: And? Anything good came up? You know i saw Vega the other day and this has highest priority..the highest. Not kidding around i'll tell ya.
Johny "The Nose": Paulie found out that very recently 10 people moved to town boss. I think our flamer guy is one of them because pyroman would need to do some reconnaissance first huh..
Big Tony: Good thinking Johny. Good thinking. And? Anything fishy about these ten people?
Johny "The Nose": Five of them seem to be your regular townsfolk, at first look anyway. But the other five have some red flags.
Big Tony: Describe these five will ya?
Johny "The Nose": One of them is supposed to be a fancy doctor named "Dr. Caspian Monroe Studebaker". But we asked around and started to dig up records. This guy has no medical degree what so ever.
Big Tony: You mean this dude is a quack?
Johny "The Nose": Either this guy is a quack doctor or it's his cover story..
Big Tony: Nice find Johny, this town already has a doctor so why would another doctor move up here? Mmmmm. This could be our guy. Yes. Who are the others?
Johny "The Nose": There is a tough biker dude that rides a big black Harley from the 60's, a FLH Duo-Glide custom. Our pig contact says neighbours called the cops on him on the first night he moved in as they supposedly saw a sawn-off shotgun handle sticking out on the side of his bike, but the policereport just got filed away for “a vagueness sighting - unconfirmed”. So we started to ask aroud about this guy. It seems this dude has real issues because our contact at the local gun store said he is a good customer and a couple of times he was already wearing a ballistic vest while he asked to try one on. . Looks like this guy is so used to wearing a vest he doesn't even know he is wearing body armor anymore lol. Can you believe that? I swear, that guy must wear a bulletproof vest all the time, even under his grinch kiddie pajamas for not noticing or not knowing he wears one anymore lmao.
Big Tony: Funny story, yeah real funny but nah, too obvious M.O. to be our pyroguy. I'll bet you'll never see our pyromaniac coming for ya untill your a pile of smoke and ash.. What else you got Johny?
Johny "The Nose": Well the other three are a retired cop called Jim "Wild" Meeks. Used to be some hot shot detective from up state Dirty Harry style. Then there is this new captain of the firebrigade with a funny name : Weyland "Bo" Beauregard. Could be a perfect coverstory for our guy i think? I dunno. And a stranger called William "Bill" Cage that seems to be asking a lot of questions around town.
Big Tony: That's all you got Johny?
Johny "The Nose": For the moment?, eahh yeah boss.
Big Tony: That retired cop is a dead end. Fugget d'about it. I'll tell ya. Retired cops are asleep half of the time and the other half they just spend on playing golf or something. Well the detectives do anyways if they were smart during their career..Count on it. For the rest, it could be anybody. Mostly it's the one you least expect huh. Anyways, find me this pyro man quick Johny. Start sniffing around town like only you can. Your nose depends on it. Got it? Your big nose and my fat ass. If we fail to get this guy Big Tuna is gonna paint both our houses. I swear. (Big Tony hangs up the phone).
