Maybe your not understanding lol
I play with my friends from time to time brothers ect. , so you know human nature is going to come into the game ........We set up a private game with a password (it only takes one player in the game to be a premium member to do this) so that way people wont get upset with the style of play ...........Thats all I'm saying .....I have no problem with alliances ect. but they are meant to be made against the strongest player or on a border when two players own a continent ....... not to beat up on the weakest player (unless he says I have to out of town or is missing turns)......If you have a tendency to attack other players when your in the same game play team games .........
I would play against you but if I noticed something like what was suggested in this thread I would just mark it in the neg feedback column so people could watch out ..........

There's nothing wrong with having alliances in a normal game as long as they announce it guys.
This IS risk, and in classic risk - there is no such thing as a team game in official rules. Now I do realize that CC isn't official rules, but it's still the same game. And in any game of normal standard risk diplomacy is a big thing. There's nothing wrong with it.
But! If they want to play on a team when they start the game, (I don't know, just throwing out a suggestion to make people happy) then they should do doubles.
Apparently they don't plan alliances when they start though, so there's nothing wrong with playing standard risk together.

To be blunt, I think it's dumb that they can't - seeing as they haven't done anything wrong. Just maybe annoyed some people who don't like being teamed up on. Although you must realize... Real war is never so straitforward as a doubles game.
