Rounds 1a-1c: 20 groups of 8, 7 games per round
Rounds 2a-2c: 12 groups of 8, 7 games per round
Rounds 3a-3b: 6 groups of 11, 10 games per round
Rounds 4a-4b: 2 groups of 16, 15 games per round

Round 0f 16: Best of 19
Last 8: Best of 21
Semifinals: Best of 29 in 2 batches
Finals: Best of 35 in 2 batches

I need to add the number of players advancing but am not on my pc right now.

the championships 2019 had both individual and tribe scoreboard with great prizes (red star, CC credits).

will something like that be made for the championships 2024?

it was exciting back then.

I have to say. Even more Super League Players would have joined but some made me aware that they were put off by the negativity of some players on this thread. Comparing Super League Players participation on CC as a Cult, simply because the League contains a large percentage of all active CC Players. Put some off joining. I think that this Negativity from Kotaro and Swimmerdude in particular is a wholly negative advert for CC.

This is a fascinating dig. My comment was enough to directly dissuade people is fascinating. I'd love to see the messages from these people so I can decide if I think you are full of it, or an honest individual

No, they all mentioned they came from the super league, almost like it was a script they were supposed to edit. Do you not find it ironic they all mentioned it specifically? You don't live in my head, you sent a bunch of participants over here who mentioned super league. Nearly half the text is now about super league

(and since you seem to think I have a vendetta, I'm still hoping someday a version of it will be made for poly so I can participate. And that someday the updates will be in a thread, instead of inbox - or at least an option. The question you need to focus on swimmer is how you will stop the elite 1v1 trained cult wiping the floor with non-cult members. Ive had two years of intensive 1v1 matches everyday AND dont forget i won this last time. But it will be a tall order there are some damn good players on the list and id include you.

As to your second - I used to think 1v1 was all luck, and I was just as good as the rest in 1v1. "All 2500+ players are the same in 1v1, blah blah". After the first championships 1v1 I realized just how wrong I was. I got below 50% win rate, and that really showed me there are things about 1v1 that over the long run are making some of us winners, and some of us losers.

I'm excited for this one again, to see if I can up my game - and while you have been so kind to pump my ego - I do not think I'm even close to being an elite 1v1 player! You, however, most certainly are. If we face each other... I'm gonna be fighting uphill

I think it's best you just avoid the Super League as it is a Tournament you will never play in. Also accept that it's players form the biggest part of the CC Community. So please stop offending them.

It will not be a tribal event this time around. We are looking to stagger the championship events. 1 a year. I am working on a new tribal event though.

Clans are groups that gather to compete in team games. Tribes are groups that gather to compete in singles (including polymorphic) games.

It's quite different.
The only similarity is that it's a group of player I would say

In clans you almost exclusively play team games.

In tribes, you play almost never team games.
There are some polymorphic tournament with similar settings than clans but with poly instead of team games.
And there are also some various tournament, as well as site events such as the OIympics and Chalmpionship where you participate alone in the event, but you give points to your tribe if you rank good in the tournament.

Can be worth if for you to join a tribe for the championship, if your tribe win, you might gain extra awards.

I wondered the same, but I got it on a small map. Having the round limit will at least prevent it going forever, but it won't prevent potential stalemates.

Rounds 1-4 do not say 'score reset' next to them. 'Round of 16' does.
