The other thing I have issue with is publicly declaring the use of potentially our only town power role on Charle? Yes it would offer some pseudo protection to someone practically confirmed to not be first two scum (which I'd love for mod to say what the penalty for that was), but it also means we'd be roleblocking probable town over potential scum and yes also protecting, but protection is worthless if scum knows to just target someone else.
First half:    yes i agree lol

Second half: it's 9 or 10 vs 3 or 2, how are we gonna hit scum if we use the jailjeeker as offensive force? Better use it as defense on N1? I mean otherwise D1 will end up like it always ends: no lynch and no town coördination at all..we need a plan. If you don't like it: come up with a better one!

It's like saying: "i need a real good guy on this project, your it, untill your dead or i find somebody better" 8-)

Also: you guys have should be busy drinking lots of champagne like i am :D :D :D Have a great one guys!! It's a party till morninglight! Or until the lights go out (that could be your brain too on too much champietro lololol)

PS: i did not checked in on christmas eve party - there was no game then - but this - hell yeah ! Party on

This is Black Metal New Year's EVE Party :D

Sonic - yes I am bitter and twisted.

How is your plan better than the jailkeeper (s) toss a coin - if its heads jail Charle if not jail someone else?

What the moving onto night strategizing does is detracts from lynching D1.
If you don't want to try to lynch D1 say so.

Ew proposes Max as a lynch target.
Max when mason with me posted a lot more in mason chat than he does in day chat.
Charle can comment on whether that was true when they were scum together.
It would be a reasonable interpretation of Maxs early post on Charle, as carry over excitement from N0 scum strategizing.

Personally I'm not instinctively feeling Max as scum.

I'm feeling another low poster Pixar who engaged late in this game - and I'm feeling the timing of his first posting as suss

An alternative voting strategy might be to let Charle choose 2 candidates and we have a vote off between those 2.

Lynch wise: 2/3 between 12: bad random odds.

Max fucked up that game on the last moment. You carried that game so hard and PMC did all he could... but: disaster in the end.

I think we need a plan for our jailkeepers. I really do.

And Pixar always feels sus right? That is what i say to myself anyways.

Now- stop reading this, drink champagne or a good prosecco and have a blast

At this point, only two roles have been assigned: two goons (but everyone has been assigned a number corresponding to a role in either of the two setups).

Personally I'm sticking with Pixar for low posting at present.
I have no better option, but I will not vote pix, its had been holidays, can't use activity on a forumgame as a factor then, thats just wrong, at least in my eyes.

Charle was punished for breaking one of the rules and thus has been mod wounded given it's his first offence in any games as far as I'm aware. Obviously, he's free to tell the group how he has been punished (as long as he's not quoting any PMs received by the mod). Let his punishment be a reminder that breaking the rules will not end well for you.

So Charle did you have to sing the collected works of Shakespeare in the style of Gilbert and Sullivan, or did Rag go easy on you?

You're trying too hard Rags. You fucked up (you and/or Charle) and now you think publicly scolding Charle will save your game...
I can see thought that shit. You're not fooling me.

Again,

Vote Charle

And if the rest of you can't see it, it's on you.

Whilst it doesn't make statistical sense to vote Charle I have to say was Charle a recruited scum who thought quoting from an initial pm from rag would give him strong cover?

Someone said in a previous game that Charle as scum liked to come up with little plots.

And if Charle is scum how are we gonna get rid of him?

It would fit with my sense of fair play to lynch Charle even though it's statistically crazy.

Just saying.....

Honestly the fact that the penalty is being hidden by both Rag and Charle (who actively chose to hide what it was) does give a lot of credence to the above posts. I'd be okay with a Charle lynch both gameplay wise and game fairness wise.

Charle, why would you hide that information and try to play it off if you're a town player?

And Traf yes, we realistically should not actually lynch Charle day 1 if at all, but it's incredibly easy to sit back do nothing say nothing and call any activity by other players sus. This wasn't the deciding votes that forced a speed lynch, if town isn't even allowed to probe inconsistencies and see what sticks then I'm not really sure what you expect to happen during the day?

Mod Question: Everyone including scum was given a musician backstory, so are you able to confirm if there's any gameplay significance to it beyond pure flavour purposes?

If you are town, you would know Charle is telling the truth. Very sus that you wouldn't believe him, do you think he just made that stuff up? And mod would randomly give him a penalty for no reason?

Didn't realise I'd voted in black.
Actually I've more or less discounted Charle as scum, because his last post sounded too town.
There's still the fair play thing.

And it's turned out to be an interesting lure for the scummy low posters.

The current idea is that Charle (or one of his scum partners) could be a scum recruited townie. So the recruited townie would know that stuff..

Diabolical master scheme.. but this is black metal and burning churches..

If Ragian confirms the penalty (charle can't vote today) it should be cleared and the big WIFOM issue it is now can go to bed.

We will never know otherwise i think (D1 never results in an actual lynch so not being able to vote today... thats like saying to a guy in death row "hey, don't do that - you could go to jail")
