Re: Soaps Role Madness 2!
Partly to be provocative and see what happens given that my stance in previous games has been pro-lynch.
Partly because I haven't worked out a way of overcoming the advantage that scum have in guiding a d1 lynch towards a town mislynch.
Partly because I want to get better at using roles effectively.
Partly because i don't have much of a suspicion about anyone yet.
But if something can be provoked by the reactions, maybe I'll have a better idea about who to use any role action I have N1 more effectively.

Your vote seemed like a "I'm getting pressure and the easiest way to survive is to just go along with the no lynch crowd". These are all valid points, I have the same especially regarding the first because a lynch is only achieved with a majority. If we have 4 votes on a scum, he still won't be lynched. D1 lynches will probably only be on town, but I still like the dance even if I accept there likely wont be any lynch.

Actually Extreme it wasn't in my mind I'm going to vote no lynch because I'm getting pressure, but there was an I'm going to react, and after thinking through the options on reacting, I did it voting no lynch for the reasons outlined.
Maybe you like/accept my reasons less now?

Re: Soaps Role Madness 2!
I prefer lynching (or at least the threat of the lynch) because it ought to make people participate.
Therefore: unvote vote Max
I don't like lynching blind, so hopefully some sort of pressure might encourage Max to participate. (However, I'd need others with me there.) Also, given the last game, I'd be less annoyed with lynching Max without him having participated.

There's probably just about enough been said so far for max to have some initial suspicions or feelings of towniness- even though I don't really suspicions.
Max I reckon from the short time we were masons together in Charle s game you have a willingness to participate more than you usually show.
Time for you to post.

Vote Count
(1) Loose - Charle
(5) Max - Rag, EW, Vot, Dev, Fusi
(1) No Lynch - Loose
With 10 alive it takes 6 to lynch! Max is at L1.
Reminder: Please remember to unvote first. My time is currently divided, you're helping me here if you do this.

Some people were very quick to jump on the lynch wagon. I'll try to post some thoughts later.

Re: Soaps Role Madness 2!
I will not hammer this at the moment, let's hear what Max has to say when he comes back to us.
Re: Soaps Role Madness 2!
I agree that the votes piled on quickly. I'm also intrigued that Max came online right after. Looking forward to hearing what you have to say, Max. What's your take on this?

Re: Soaps Role Madness 2!
If Max doesn't post before I'm off to bed, I'm swinging towards revoting him. Deadline is soon.

Re: Soaps Role Madness 2!
Also, you're at L-2 so it's a reeeeally good idea to claim in order to get people off your back. Posting thoughts might not do it for you.

The wagon was quick, yes.Ragian wrote:Also, you're at L-2 so it's a reeeeally good idea to claim in order to get people off your back. Posting thoughts might not do it for you.
There's probably scum on the wagon, yes.
Unlikely that scum would bus their teammate here, yes.
But Max is also the player who didn't claim cop on L-1 in an earlier game and made the same post wrt coming back later, they were town.
Point is that the slot is something you can't build around ever

unvote no lynch
I think you all can guess where this might lead

Re: Soaps Role Madness 2!
What? You mean voting 'no lynch' will lead to no lynch?Loose Canon wrote:unvote no lynch
I think you all can guess where this might lead
Yeah, I can see that.
But, if your concern for lynching Max is because he might be Town, ...well frankly, I have not encountered a more self-destructively town-hating (and game-hating) playstyle that Max's.
Good riddance, regardless of alignment.
Anyone want to make bets on...
1. When Max will respond?
2. If Max will respond?
3. Will he say anything meaningful in his potential response?
Okay, I edited once to fix a typo, and now again to explain my first edit.

Re: Soaps Role Madness 2!
Rags and Loose were probing, nothing out of character, they did the exact same thing last game -> probably Town
Charle was just trying to get the game started, and like Rags and Loose, has been active so far -> probably Town
Vot holds a grudge because I kicked his sorry ass some time ago and he's still butthurt
-> probably Town (though if we're going to mislynch, he's the perfect candidate, he's so erratic and unreliable, he's a liability)
Fusi: I don't trust him. Could be scum but really not sure. We'll see.
Devante: same as Fusi.
EW: see next post.
