Re: CC Super League (CCSL) - Season 22
I'm fine with whatever you decide - but I think 6 up and 6 down is better than 4 up and down.
More movement makes for more changes.
That still leaves 8 people in the same league who will play each other again. More different opponents each season is good!
And you could still let the 1st and last place finishers go up/down three ranks instead of just 2 ranks.

I'm going with 6 up and 6 down creating more movement in my humble opinion

I voted A-4 up/down
With half the groups to climb in the new configuration, we don't need the large numbers of players flying up/down the ranks like we did with 25+ leagues.

Re: CC Super League (CCSL) - Season 22
6 up/6 down is my preference. Would prefer the winner get the 3 spot promotion though.
Re: CC Super League (CCSL) - Season 22
Voted A.
Im not super invested in this one. B will work as well.
Still want home and away games, but I cant seem to find a viable solution that fits leagues with 20 people in it. Meh.
Double gameload, please

Re: CC Super League (CCSL) - Season 22
It defeats the purpose of a League. Improve, go up. Maintain performance, stay the same. Get worse/Be unlucky, Relegation. Too many Relegation spots (which Promotions create) removes the middle option as a performance metric if u know what I mean.

Re: CC Super League (CCSL) - Season 22
4 up / 4 down.
Note that one of the reasons for the bigger league sizes was that new players could move up to the premier faster.
With max 2 promotions (the 6 up 6 down option) that goes hardly faster, especially if you take into account that it will be twice as difficult to win a league.

Only option 1 has a unique benefit for the league winner.

Re: CC Super League (CCSL) - Season 22
Because by having 6/6 it makes moving up and down too easy. 4/4 seems better and that is still with 40% of players in each league moving each season.

Re: CC Super League (CCSL) - Season 22
I have a question. I am sure you guys are not finished with S22 leagues. I am sure it is a grueling process. Thank you for this tournament, it is so much fun. My question. I finished 7th in League 01 (First relegated spot) it appears that next season I will be in L02. Which is fine by me, but in S21 League 02, the 7th place finisher looks to be headed to L01 next season, is the 'next season' column finalized or a work in progress?
