Morning guys, sorry had a very busy weekend and I see a busy week at the office as well.

Very interesting things happening at the moment here. There must have been a deflection of some sort, it could have been that scum has some sort of bus role and exchanged their roles with me, or there was another deflection as per the night script.

I am still going to read through it now if I get time later today, but a few things comes to my mind.

1. Why did Loose investigate me?
2. If scum used a bus role on me, then again, why me?
3. I need to look into what EW is on about, it is as if he is almost upset that scum did not target him after an invitation. Or is it not?
4. Why was there only 1 kill last night if we have wolves and vampires, meaning there were some protection? If someone was protected, surely we will know it somehow like Devante's so called bulleted vest?

All I can say at this moment is that it will not be good for town to get a claim out of me, I prefer not to reveal that at this stage and there is a pretty good reason for that. What I can say for now is that I do not have any night actions.

You don't have any night actions? In a multiball game, you don't have any night actions?

First we are all in agreement we have the following setup:
2 x Vampires
2 x Wolves
9 x Town (Traf is dead, so 8 x Town left).

It seems that a Vampire killed Traf. Then another creature (Wolf) entered, had a fight with each other, Dev entered the room and the Wolf damaged Dev's protective Vest whereafter both creatures ran away.

Kong came up and said that Strike and EW are town, so Kong might be town aligned as well.

Just one question to both Dev and Kong, why on earth do both of you claim so early in the game? Scum will now know what both of your PR's are and that you have a protective vest Dev.

So if all the above is true, we have:

Confirmed Town:
1. Strike
2. EW
3. Kong
4. Dev

The Rest:
5. DDS
6. pmc
7. Vot
8. Loose
9. Fusi
10. Ragian
11. Pixar
12. Charle

If we lynch anybody from 5 to 12 above, we have a 50% chance to hit scum and after that the masons even have a better chance at night. This is if Kong and Dev were telling the truth though.
It was the above post that led me to investigate you Charle.
It was the but is Charle town question that was like an itch to be scratched for me.

I missed this and this is a very good post/investigate reason

Town either puts themselves in town, or omits themselves from the list. Especially when you then say 50% chance from the remaining 8 players.

I don't understand completely...is it because he didn't lump himself in with the townies?

I don't think that's a particular good reason. It's not a rule that town doesn't include oneself in a list because most people do it. I acknowledge, however, that it is unusual, but I would've investigated one of the ones that had been voted for or scrutinized instead. Like me, Fusi, or Pixar. Seems like a more townie move. But hey, it's nice that Loose finally made use of his powers. If that's what's going on :)

No that didn't enter my conscious reasoning.
For me Charle s post raised a I liked the post, at face value it will put charle as town with most players, does it do that with me, maybe it does maybe it doesn't, I think there's value in trying to find out, line of thought.

Meh, no night actions yet it's not beneficial for you to claim! Get this Vampire out of the game! I will hold my vote for more discussion but seems very clear cut here. A deflection maybe? But doubtful

What about the conclusion that we have 50% chance of hitting scum if we lynch in

From Charle's point of view, you remove yourself from this list and say you have 4/7 chance of hitting scum.

I will await what Charle says, I dont want to speedlynch, but the odds are against him.

I'm not trying to distract from whatever is happening with Charle, because I think this is a valuable thread to follow, but I do also think we need to confirm why there was only one night kill. @Dev, you said something about trying to use your vest to protect someone else, was your vest used up?

I'm also wondering Kong why you had a message to relay to us D2 but apparently not today. It might be you don't have the answer to this?

I'll maintain that it's an odd choice for your investigation. Your reason wasn't even Loose's. I'll maintain, also, that a cop not using his powers N1 is odd. At best.

Fine rag, vote to lynch me if you want/dare

All I know is I've played and posted about my play honestly - if it's odd to you so be it.

Rag, disagreeing is fine, but its you who has to live with that not me, because I've given explanations and will continue to give explanations for anything I do, or for any new questions.

And to be fair I'd repeat and repeat questioning and accusations too.

Throwing back the questions on the questioner and accuser is fair too when you - I in this case - have given answers and there's nothing much more to say really.

DEADLINE ANNOUNCEMENT!

To stay in the flavor of this spooky game deadline D3 is.. midnight October 31.. also known as Halloween!

The Old Celts believed that on the night before their new year (celebrated on November 1), the moment the dark half of the year would begin, the boundary between the worlds of the living and the dead became blurred...

So deadline is October 31, 23.59 PM IRELAND TIME

Ok, I am against claiming roles unnecessary this early in the game, just making it easier for those scum bags, but you want it so here it is.

I do not have night actions but I have day actions. I am The Bishops Secret Agent.
Roles are that I have 3 Shot Day Archeologist (where I get full info on a deceased role) and a 1 Shot "Sun Vig" on Grando.

I have also received a letter to tell me that somebody was converted last night (probably why there was only 1 night kill).

I have not used any of my day actions yet, as I don't think it is necessary to know more of Traf or Fusi's roles, so I expect something in that regard the future.

With all the above, it is obvious that our "Confirmed Players" are not confirmed anymore because of a conversion last night, meaning that if the "Confirmed" guys were telling the truth (possible that they did not), one of them is converted to either a wolf or a vampire.

We need to hit scum with this lynch, I am not sure how many conversions is possible, but there is a possibility that they might take over.

Charle that could be a fake claim you have been provided with.
Wouldn't put it past sonic to have gone really elaborate with fake claims.

3 shots archeologist and 1 shot Vs striga seems possibly for a longer game duration than likely for a 2 scum faction game with conversions.

I got my night action in within 4 hours of D2 closing and was surprised to get the result back within 1 hour of that. So wouldn't leave a long window for scum to decide on actions including a deflection.

The obvious candidate for a deflection onto Charle might be Kong though because he received message re n1 but Charle claims he received message re N2.
Would be interested in whatever Kong has to say.

I think I personally have to leave my vote on charle almost come what may.

The reaction from Rag here is interesting. We seem to have too many investigative roles. Though, who truly knows how Son!c balanced this. Archeologist is an interesting claim. Charle should use it today on a dead player of our choice to see if it dregs up any conformable info but otherwise, I've found his defense wimpy and he probably is a vampire as Loose claims.

Charle, in light of fusi's v jfm/DDS... I think it would be useful to know fusi's full role.
