So I put together a simple Android app that pulls from the rss feed. With that in mind its pretty limited but is a good way to quickly check on your game status when you're out. It also links to the browser if you want to play on the phone..
Where to start with this. the idea is sound and the app is free if you follow the link, I dont pay unless I have too. first off if you could make it look like the my games page then it would be perfect you could see all your games together, if not and your kepping it simple by using rss then maybe change the coloured boxes to maps? Or green for your go amber waiting on other player, red eliminated or finished. the type is wrong on my phone and overlaps the red box but then I have an x10 mini, might be an idea to do either dif for everyscreen res or a multi low res app and then a hd version, let me know how you get on but a very good start
If it is true you can follow the link on other phones I guess thats OK.. But when I click on the link with my Iphone it says "Safari cannot DL this link".
Hey guys sorry I never got any notifications on any replies...
The app is for Android only and it is free. I wont build an iphone version just because its a pain with the certification process and the app store..
I didnt even know about the API until recently so I have been contemplating building one out with way more features but not sure there is enough demand for that...
@Bragsie, thanks, I only had a thunderbolt to develop on. You mind sending me a screenshot of what it looks like on your phone?

Hopefully it works for people, let me know if you have any issues. Andrew
I downloaded the app but unfortunately it crashes when I launch it on my Transformer due to an unsupported opengl operation. For this reason I may look at writing an app of my own.
i just quickly copied the url http://dl.dropbox.com/u/224773/Conquer%20Club/app.apk into an online qr code generator and scanned it with my droid and it installed easy-peasy-lemon-squeezy. Thanks, Andy, for the great app! I really like its simplicity.

I've been building an iPhone version for CC recently. When you say API do you mean CC has an API we can use? This would really help things along! Cheers.
Want to buy a widget for andriod that shows my games at a glance rather than having to open an app . This works nicely though and has potential. Thanks
