This is the 'I reckon' that even SoN agrees was Loose?

If I'm lynched on the basis of one piece of unproven 'chat' that sounds as if it's from someone who's been active over D1-D3 (so definitely not me) and another that was almost certainly Loose (given the 'as chances are my game is up tomorrow') I'm going to be slightly gutted... (SoN I'll definitely take that bottle of red)

You'll get rid of a Townie and still be left with 2 wolves (probably) plus possibly even worse a Thor... ;)

"I reckon" just means Pixar didnt made the wolf radio up out of thin air..

From there it all leads to you if Pix is town.. anyways whatever the flip will bring: hell of a game Stu =D> =D> HELL of a game

I read the "I reckon" as a LC post given that he claimed so early and gave up for the most part. Not sure I know people's vocabulary enough to go by

Still don't get how you get me from the 'chat' but I'll take the compliment (and the wine)

Point is "i reckon" is hardly used by Americans..only very old Americans would say it and then even...it should be civil war old Americans :D And Pix is not only "good old American" but his profile says he's 29 years old. Now could be 29 is a metaphore for 92    but that is not even close to civil war old.

Now ofcourse Pix his profile says he is from 'The Mitten" (Navajo Tribal Park in northeast Navajo County, Arizona..) and people are a bit backward there so i suppose Americans in The Mitten could still say "I reckon" even today... (i said 5 times i was struggling on Pix didn't i?)

But as American, Pix should never say "I reckon"... So he can't have made the wolf radio chat up...

And if the chat is true it's clearly LC being the undisputed alpha wolf all the way untill he met the razor's edge with 2 wolves remaining (or dead doornail LC was chatting to himself   )

Then it can't be anybody else but you taking over as Alpha wolf pulling this off

Yes Im doubting. Smart play would be to lynch Pix (to know if the chat is true or not) but nobody wants that so all in on you. Thor is the Pepsi of choices, your the coca-cola just like Swang explained already

I’m disappointed that you think the Mitten means Arizona…

Anyway, the vote is now split three ways... Lame.

Follow my thinking here.

Reasons for or against Thor

If Thor is just being a bad Townie, we do not want to waste a vote on him. (A townie Thor won't even fully clear Ewebasher)
If Thor is Townish Third Party that wins with wolves. we do not want to waste a vote on him.
If Thor is a Wolf we do want to vote for him... and this would also reveal that Ewebasher lied and is a wolf.
...of course, Thor's play if wolf is rather poor also, but thanks to the endlessly spinning wineglasses of WIFOM, everything bad can become good...

But a wolf Thor also means Ewebasher told a sophisticated lie...which he may very well be capable of...

But using that same logic, Pixar could also tell a sophisticated lie that might even involve placing the phrase 'I reckon' exactly where Sonic would fnd it...
Btw, 'I reckon' is uncommon usage in America, but it is not even close to being as rare as Sonic claims, ...at least I reckon it isn't.
At this point, both the 'I reckon' and the entire wolf chat interpretation has been overplayed.
Even assuming the wolf chat is true, how were these sentences selected, likely at random, so they may not even indicate the final decision of the wolves.

As for swang being a wolf...
Thinking like Traf and guessing that some intentional role combinations were necessary for successful gameplay...
Traf was aware that the Barber role was the primary way to check the power of the Barkeep-White Wolf. The witch and hunter were other methods available for Town, but the Barber was the only way for the wolves to stop LC, if they found out about him... but the Wolves could only use the Barber as a weapon if the Barber was also a wolf (maybe the BBW?).

Yes, I will switch my vote, if everybody else is going to be so certain (?) and stubborn.

Getting a reasonably likely chance at a wolf lynch is better than no lynch at all...

The lower peninsula of the U.S. state of Michigan is often called the mitten, for its resemblance to a human hand, and apparently Michiganders indicate where they're from by using their hands as a rudimentary map of the state. :D

And Pixars is a great fan of Michigan State Spartans if i remember correctly...

Look we got all day long 31st of january to decide.. nobody is going to be stubborn

Right now I'm leaning between swang, pixar or Ewe. Don't think lynching Thor makes sense

More then happy with you choosing the lynch target as you will be tonights target.

Or we do a "pre-vote"? - first to reach 5 votes gets lynched unanimously (Pixar, Swang, Thor and Ewe have already voted). In the "pre-vote" the sheriif vote doesn't count ofcourse

As far as I see it the remaining potential wolf combinations are:

Votanic + 1 of Pixar/EW/Swang (most likely EW). Yes he outed AWF on D1 but as evidenced by DDS bitten state on D2 it looks like they got the power back... Claim to have been attacked on D2 only valid if BBW either had multiple attacks or didn't attack on D1

EW + Votanic. Dropped off the face of the forum - can't remember if he had a RL reason. Was the 'vanilla' nonsense around EW's confession 2 wolves being intentionally vague... They could be playing an absolute blinder here. 'Confirmed' town confessor clears fellow wolf and they sit back and hope they don't get killed... oh wait they can't be killed now that the White Wolf is out...

Pixar + 1 of Votanic/Swang. Who would be able to accurately pick up a Loose quote easier than a fellow wolf...

Swang + 1 of Votanic/Pixar. Some erratic play during earlier days, weak 'Simple Villager' claim

I'm still at the point of saying Thor is playing reckless and not helping town at all and to me is the safest lynch. Devante uses his action on whoever he may think is best fit brings back information tomorrow, I don't see the wolves killing Devante tonight with a defender role out there. And we go from there, because right now we have a 1/3 mixed on Thor/Swang/Ewe and maybe even add me to that list for some.

If someone could come up with a valid third party role that Thor could have that would definitely be to the detriment of the town then I would consider changing my vote but for the time being I can't in all conscience vote to lynch a villager... (unless it's gets down to him or me I guess - slightly ironic that currently we're both voting for swang so if we both switch to each other it's a no win game)

Maybe you raise a good point Pix... if we can't decide between the 3 front runners we should all lump on the outsider... Vote Pixar ;)

Agreed, certainly doesn't help my case...

I do definitely regret the fact that I can vouch/have vouched for him... Unfortunately it looks like I've played into whatever his role's game is... he maybe even followed my vote to further throw me under the bus... Hindsight is a wonderful thing but at the time it felt like clearing a 'villager' 'non wolf' seemed the right thing to do

I mean if youre truly the bear tamer then claiming and reporting your investigation results were the correct play, even if it gets you suspected. Truthful information is generally valuable to town and the goal is not to stay unlynched, its to help town win. So if you’ve been truthfully reporting theres no need to second guess anything.

Although of course i still think youre more likely wolf

I can't figure this out, so I'm going to
Vote Thor
because it seems like he has rabies and needs to be put down.

If Dev prefers someone else, I'll vote with him to try to get to a lynch.

You are walking down a path into the woods. You hear a noise behind you as you turn to look back it is me, Thor. I say to you I will walk behind you and protect you. As your journey leads you further into the woods. It is getting darker, but then you see a faint light ahead. You stop and try to get a better look. It appears as it is a candlelight. So you continue on your walk. As you get closer you can see it is two candlelight's. Two yellow candlelight's in the distance ahead of your journey. As you walk closer suddenly you stop in cold fear. Now you realize it is not a candlelight, but two yellow eyes staring at you in the dark. You hear me tell you to slowly walk back and do not go any further. The yellow eyes are coming close and getting larger.
What do you do? this could be your decision of life or put your trust in Thor and slowly walk back towards him.

Your choice
