You don't know what amount of thought I spend on what topics. What I devote time to in this forum is not indicative of my broader interests. What I devote time to in this forum is mainly a reflection of what other people are talking about in this forum. I rarely start topics; mainly I just participate in topics that other people have started.
Trudeau is not my leader. He's the prime minister of the government. We have a healthier attitude towards politics here. We don't assign any special mystic significance to the government; it's a sideshow to people's lives and not the core of their existence.
The U.S., dominates the world. It's still the world's biggest economy, still the world's number one military power, still the world's number one exporter of cultural norms. So, like it or not, what happens in the U.S. concerns everybody in the world. That's why discussions of American politics dominate in online fora, including this one.

you seem awfully invested in US politics .. just not your own countries.. but like you said.. Canadian Politics ARE a sideshow.. .. maybe if more Canadians actually cared about their own government .. it would matter to them... focus on your country. focus on your Trudeau. or whatever you want to refer to him as.. since he's not your.. Leader..
actually I am very glad Canadians are not invested in politics.. Conservatives will take over Canada soon enough..
