Well, that can't be true. Dunk investigated Darin and confirmed him as doc. Darin says he's doc and saved himself. The only way I see your statement to be true is if they are both mafia and making this story up. Yesterday, I would have believed that maybe one of them could be mafia, but not both. Today, they are both telling the same story. I think they are both town. It's the only thing that makes sense to me. So, Darin must be able to use his powers on himself. I've said before that I have my suspicions about you. I see this vote as scummy. I'm going to wait for some more discussion, but I think we need to push for a claim and possibly a lynch on Max.

Whether a doc can self-protect has always been dependent on the mod. It's not universal.

Per mafia.gg: Doctor -> Each night, may visit and protect a player from a kill.

I doubt if we have a doctor that that person can save themselves. Which leads me to think Darin is lying and the only reason he'd do that is if he's scum. And if Darin's lying, Dunk and strike are in that web too because Dunk is "investigating" them and claiming their "truthfulness". He would have gotten a lot more value out of investigating me last night like I told him to. Also I highly doubt that mafia would just target Darin when he already had a lot of heat on him yesterday...like why are we all jumping to that conclusion

So we have 1 of 2 situations:

1) Darin is lying. In which case, I'd surmise scum is comprised of Darin, Dunk, and 1 of strike or Law, who took an aggressive approach of claiming Doc and Cop, hoping they wouldn't get counterclaimed, and in the case they were, they can always just say that there's multiple of each role. I lean toward this because when I logged on the other day I randomly had 5 people piling on to get me out and I was literally at L-1 for being "quiet" when there's multiple other players who vote and participate less than I do. In any case, I'd encourage whoever used their save to prevent the actual Mafia kill to come forward as the subject of the save must have been the same target as the kill attempt.

2) Darin and Dunk are Town and are actually the roles they claim to be. In which case I lean towards Law and chana actually running the show. Strike and Duke could be somewhere in there in either situation but could also just be misguided Townies.

Regardless, Dunk if you want to earn my confidence, you need to actually investigate me tonight like I recommended to you yesterday if Town wants to actually have a shot. If for whatever reason you don't want to, I'd recommend Chana or Law as I'd imagine they should be your top suspects if you're actually Town.

So the options are two mafia are lying about being cop and doc and haven't been counterclaimed.

Or Fusi is wrong/scum.

Fusi's been a lot more active since people started putting pressure on him and a lot of his accusations have been in some way or another OMGus. He's avoided claiming so far just saying that he's a power role and he'll die if he claims which just smells like bs as 1. This a vanilla game and the chances that we have 3 power roles isn't extremely likely and 2. No power role is going to be higher on the mafia kill list then cop or doc. I think he's just trying to emulate the Darin strat of not claiming until the last second because it did keep Darin from getting lynched in the long run.

Then there's Max voting against Darin. I'm sure Darin is town doc. Yet he doesn't back down on his vote. Just sits there, all scummy. No response when several people tell him that his assumption is wrong. We need a claim.

If I remember right, doc could use his powers on himself in some previous games I have played. Therefore Max not believing it is some sort of scummy behavior but also could be new at this, not sure?? Another claim couldn't hurt since we already have had cop/doc come forward, can't be too many if any power roles left.

Mod note

Unless the pace and posting pick up, I'm closing this game. Some 20 posts in a week is abysmal. If you want to be replaced, I have subs ready. PM me. If you don't want to be subbed, get with the programme. Despite the tone, I hold no grudges if anyone is in over one's head. The pace of this game, however, annoys me.

You "cannot access" it anymore...How convenient... I see one problem in that narrative though, past Mafia games are visible to everybody. And it took you 2 days to find one external link that, granted seems legit, but it it looks more like your grasping at straws. Still voting Darin, and you're next. Or Chan. Or Puppy.

This is slow. My apologies to the teach. I will be gone for 4 days starting tomorrow. My vote is in and I have no intention of changing it until we get a claim out of Max. BTW Max, I don't follow your logic. Pix isn't the only one telling you that the doc can protect himself, but yet you're only on him to prove it. I think it's proved, by the many voices that responded to your call. Still seems scummy that you are still on this road.

My guess at present is that Fusi and Max are scum. I'm not sure on the third scummate. Maybe it's Pixar and Max and him are intentionally going at each other to make it look like the other is town if one flips scum. Maybe it's someone else who is lying low. I still feel more confident on Fusi than Max. So I will keep my vote there for now butnwill switch it if necessary to get the game back on pace and actually get a productive bandwagon.

I agree that we need a lynch this time. Max and Fusi are both on my list too. I just think Max is the safer bet. I could switch my vote too. Not sure where the vote count is but I think we have one more vote on Max than on Fusi. I still think it's scummier that Max is holding his vote on Darin.
