IDK if this means much. I have a pinned tab open on CC on my work laptop to monitor games. I always look "online" but I'm rarely interacting with CC.
Does the who is online info at the bottom show just people in the CC forum in general or reading this prison game specifically???

When I first started playing, I thought it made sense not to lynch on D1. Most people told me that a D1 lynch was useful for the information it provided for future analysis. I'm kind of on the fence, but lean towards a lynch if there's some justification for it. Here's a discussion on it if anyone's interested: Day 1 Lynch vs No Lynch

I'm more convinced after reading that post that D1 lynch is valuable. There is a requirement to post once a day, or you get kicked. It's still possible that 1 or more of the 6 remaining players to post just get auto-killed. Or the vote can be made to lynch someone who hasn't posted yet, who may have been booted anyway, and it's free info without much worry. Don't know if this is a thing, but could be an option.

I think someone's ability is coming into play already during the day.
I can choose whether or not to share it, it's a little cryptic but for the interest of the innocent majority I think I will share it and get your insight. I don't want to discourage whomever is sending me this message - it could be genuine info that is useful - or it could be a red herring I guess, but if it's real it points to 3rd party roles in here that are neither scum nor town and could have their own win condition that could potential harm town or possibly not, but I think it's useful information to consider as the day progresses so here it is.

Not accusing, but asking the obvious question, who sent you the message? Can/Will you share? How/When was it received? 3rd party roles isn't new info, it was stated on the original post. Regarding the blood, do people have like weapons and shit they can cause injury with. Or is it just a majority vote -> your dead type thing?

If you're asking about "did you see first blood", I think it's just an expression, perhaps referring to one of the early voters? Traditionally, the town lynches, the mafia shoots and serial killers use knives, but it's all up to Razor.

Just speculating, because it's been kind of dull around here so far... The initial text refers to "a change of Government", so maybe the "Mafia" is made up of undercover government agents trying to eliminate political opponents, and the 3rd party is a resistance movement trying to oppose them?

It could be that dunk is inexperienced not sure but that is the only thing that jumps out to me, usually day 1 ends with a lot of blah blah. This is the only game where we've had some sorta lead, whether or not its BS or not who knows. I'm okay with ending the day with a no lynch, just to see who gets killed then we can go from there. Just saying if I get killed, full send @Ragian and Dunk. I would hope they wouldn't make it that obvious though and night kill someone else.

I guess this should works for me too, like if anything happen to me at night.

Also, calculations just don't usually hold up in Mafia, as it's more of a game of intuition, vibe, and trust. I've never seen a convincing argument to always or never lynch on day 1.

I do find it interesting that there are 23 inmates and 24 in the game. Some sort of special "warden" or "God" role maybe? Could it be third-party? Any thoughts?

Someone must have been here already when we were dropped. Who was that? Let's search the place if no one volunteers. We should know that person's story.

I think that would be very unusual. Though there is a "neighbor" role that allows two people to talk to each other. It can be used with any alignment.

Careful with this. If Pix is town, scum could use this to hit Pix during nighttime and the coast D2 and D3 where you're going for whoever Pix pointed his finger at. Remember that if Pix is town, they have no clue whether or not the ones they're pointing their finger at is town. Only scum knows who's scum. Town doesn't know who's town.

I've never heard that scum to chat during daytime (and didn't know of the neightbour role). Also, I'm against lynching a no show. We learn nothing from the flip, their interaction during the day, and effectively the bandwagon is free. We MUST have everyone participating.

I find it more interesting that loads of people post without saying anything relating to what has happened in the game so far, and that some of the more experienced players have refrained from commenting on the votes dished out.
