With a change of Government during the last election, running with the pledge to crack down on crime.
The authorities have arrested, charged and sentenced over 500 people within the last two weeks.
The city prison is full to over capacity, no more prisoners will fit.
Needing more prison capacity, the OLDE JAILHOUSE, which for the last 30 years was dedicated as a museum has been re-opened.
This prison has a dark history, no guards will dare enter this building.
The prison is in disrepair. Cell doors no longer lock. All that works are the Front Gates.
Rain through the shattered roof is all there is to drink, food is dropped inside the front gates on a weekly basis.
Guards have been instructed to land the prisoners and to leave them to thier own devices.
You have been labeled the worst of the worst, from ALL WALKS OF LIFE
This is an island prison, that resides in the middle of a poison lake.
The lake is uncrossable.
There is NO parole
There is NO escape
YOU, the first 23 inmates are now in you new home for the duration of your sentance.

It's hard to apply any calculation you may have found to our game because we don't know how many Town and how many Scum there are here. Also, calculations just don't usually hold up in Mafia, as it's more of a game of intuition, vibe, and trust. I've never seen a convincing argument to always or never lynch on day 1.
I do find it interesting that there are 23 inmates and 24 in the game. Some sort of special "warden" or "God" role maybe? Could it be third-party? Any thoughts?

I don't like pregame stuff working as a basis for a vote. Especially such an early vote. It hinges on technicalities rather than people's participation in the game and sort of hinders detective work. FoS Pixar We need to just talk and let the game develop.
