surrender button

Post by MSpitts24 »

other sites have a surrender button, think about adding one.
newbies probably prefer to give up instead of playing it out, or miss 3 turns
saves freemiums people from wasting time, opens up slots
particularly on 1v1, not so much or same if multi-player game

There is a resign button in all 1 v 1 games. Poly games it arrives after round 5. 1 v 1 round 10. Gotta have double the troop count.

The reason they only have it in certain settings and after a certain number of rounds is because point dumpers would abuse it far more easily. Maybe they could add it after a certain number of rounds/conditions in all games, same as for trench. Other sites might not handle points in the same way. It depends completely on their individual set up.

If freemiums want to play a lot of games in quick succession, they need to get premium. That was the sole reason I got premium in the first place. It would be highly annoying if everyone was able to end a game at the first sign that they might possibly lose.

A limit could be set. And even within the limit, unjustified resigning could be sanctioned...

Who would be annoyed and why?

i support this notion.

this website needs to get things rolling, regarding improvements/new features, and general progress.

if Admins need help- just ask, and delegate tasks to volunteer members with a track record of trust. All the ass-dragging around here is snuffing out enthusiasm and morale.

Debate the criterion and importance of prioritizing the most urgent desire for the surrender button and get it done. add a secondary safe-guard so the player has to double-click or even type a codeword given to them, to finalize the surrender.

This seems like a good idea, I hope they implement it one day.
